Perfect combo of comfort and style!

We were in town celebrating my parents 50th wedding anniversary and this was the perfect place to stay! It was just down the road from my parents, and was the perfect combination of comfort, style and convenience. The furnishings felt like home, and the view was amazing!

Blast From the Past

This property is just as amazing as it was 30 years ago when I stayed with the previous owners. The upgrades to the inside and deck are tastefully done. This house has a “homey” feeling and the views are amazing.

The view off the back deck was beautiful. Bedrooms were large and comfortable, bathrooms very small. If you have large vehicles the parking is hard. We thought that there would be more to do in the area so got a bit bored. Had a good time with family but you can only play so many games. Had a lot of rainy weather so we were not able to hike or play at the lake. My biggest concern was the house smelled musty when we arrived. Rooms are much darker than pictured. Game room was dirty, window sills were full of dust and dead bugs. Blinds haven’t been cleaned in a while. Table on the deck not washed. So would I rent this place again? No.

Thank you for taking the time to share your review! We are so glad you enjoyed the beautiful deck views and found the bedrooms large and comfortable for your family. We are sorry that the rainy weather impacted your outdoor plans, which can certainly make the days feel a bit longer and the rooms a bit darker, especially with our premium blackout shades closed for sleeping. Cleanliness is our highest priority, and we have since deep-cleaned the game room shutters and verified that our routine, quarterly pest control services are working effectively. We appreciate your helpful feedback as we always strive to provide a high-quality stay, and we wish you all the best in your future travels!
