Great Getaway

We had a great stay, owner was very responsive with any concerns. Beautiful view of the pond, townhouse was very spacious for our family and fully equipped. Short drive to the beach. The pool was nice and relaxing. Definitely recommend and would stay there again.

Rooms were clean. It was pet friendly. We did not use the community pool. We have suggest few things if those can be taken care by the host this property is a peaceful and a great way to relax.

Do NOT book here. The reviews are not accurate. We checked in and within an hour we booked for another place. They refuse to give us a refund. There is an awful pet smell throughout the home (with empty glade plug ins sitting out). The couches are broke, tattered, and ripped. We killed so many bugs upon arrival. The patio is not useable, all chairs are filthy and most are broken. There are broken screen doors on the patio with LR patio door broken. The windows are filthy. Furniture is dusty or sticky, we felt gross to sit anywhere in the house. The towels were stained and tattered. There was only one beach chair available, not multiple like pictured. Dirty fans and carpets. The community is gated but not locked like described. We did not need the code to enter. The neighbor was upset that we were in and out and told us the HOA doesn’t allow for vacation rentals. The host company has sketchy reviews and was useless for this whole process. They drew out the process 72 hours without giving a determination on a refund. They told they would call with a determination within an hour and then by the end of the night the next day. When we were told they would communicate, they never followed through. It stole a whole day from our vacation.

Decent for the price

The townhouse was very large and spacious, much more room than a hotel room for the same cost.Overall the stay was positive and nothing truly negative or serious was wrong.The listing was for 3 bed, 2.5 bath with 2 queen beds. At least one of the bedrooms was a full size bed. On the whole, the townhouse was well maintained and kept up, but there were some missed opportunities on the cleanliness of the place (especially with the cleaning fees we have to pay).We were not disappointed with our stay and would consider it again, though we might look a bit harder for something else as well.

The listing does state that we have 3 bedrooms, with a total of 6 beds. Plus we have 2 queen beds and 4 twin beds, but we’re sorry if this caught you off guard. We use local, professional photographers to make sure that the listing photos correctly reflect the property, so the features you see on the listing are accurately advertised, and guests can decide before booking if the home meets their expectations.”
