Sometimes a house just feels right, and this one most certainly does. Oceanfront with sweeping views up and down the coast, not to mention a lighthouse view! Driftwood Cottage located oceanfront in Seal Rock is the perfect retreat from the hectic schedules of day to day life. With super comfortable decor, to a huge deck to enjoy the surf, Driftwood Cottage is an easy choice. On the day we signed this home, we could see whales cresting while sitting on the deck. On a cloudy night, you will see the light shine from the Yaquina Bay Lighthouse. Driftwood Cottage Oceanfront in Seal Rock is also Pet Friendly!

Dog Friendly for up to 2 dogs, no other pets allowed. Please do not leave dogs unattended at any time in or on the property.

This was our first trip to the Oregon coast and we couldn't have been happier with our stay! There are so many things to do on the coast making it a great location for us. Our favorite things about our stay was listening to the ocean sounds while we sleep with the cool air. Some of the things that we did while we were here was, Cape Perpetua, Thors Well, Devil's Churn, Heceta Head Lighthouse and Devils punch bowl. Our favorite of those was Devils Punch Bowl when the tide is out and you can explore.

This property is a fantastic getaway spot! With ample windows facing the ocean and a cozy deck with a well landscaped yard overlooking the ocean, we had connection to nature at all times. There were lots of sea lions on a rock roughly 1/4 miles off shore that were fun to watch with & without binoculars. The home was cozy, had comfortable furniture, had all the major supplies we needed and the staff was good at communicating when we reached out. Even though it’s right off the highway, between the ocean sounds and the barrier of vegetation we sure didn’t feel like it. Definitely recommend this property for a solo or couple getaway. Don’t forget to bring a good book - it’s a perfect place to enjoy reading!

We love the Driftwood Cottage. Have stayed twice now and hope to book again. The size is perfect for a couple or one person. The ocean view includes a deck the full width of the cottage, plenty of deck chairs and access to the yard both front and back for the pup. Yard is always well maintained, no noise from neighbors and the inside is spotless and includes a towel warmer in the bath as well. Can't say enough great things and already look forward to returning. Beach access a couple minutes up 101. Love this cottage.

The view was spectacular and the cottage was very clean and welcoming. The heat sounds like a bathroom fan is running and I found that a bit annoying. Also the bed was hard and I didn’t find it very comfortable. Overall a nice trip.

Beautiful Location

Great location!! Easy to get to Newport for dining and attractions but also a great place to stay if you want to go south and hike, look at tide pools or other local attractions.

Cute, clean, quiet property with a beautiful view. My partner and I very much enjoyed this little house. It was stocked with plenty of essentials, and dishes to use. The back deck view was great, and we ended up seeing a lot of ocean animals and fishing boats every night and morning. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
