The place was very clean with cute decor. Check-in was easy and it had bathroom and kitchen supplies. Our one issue was that it was listed as being able to sleep 6 - two large beds and a sofa bed. Unfortunately the sofa bed was really a small futon that barely fit 1 person. This would be great for a small family or just a couple.
A most unique glamping experience! Enjoyed staying in a shipping container. Very clean and comfortable. Suggest dimmer switches for added ambience and glow. Thank you!
Communication was immediate and ongoing. Place was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. A uniqe stay and a great proximity to multiple destinations, including Big Bend National Park.
Staying in the containers was an unique, fun experience, especially traveling with children. Cleanliness was top notch and water pressure was a nice surprise. Highlight was sitting on the roof deck in the evenings watching the wildlife, stars, and playing UNO in the breeze. The winds picked up during our stay so stars weren't as visible as we hoped but that's just Texas. Thank you for the early check-in and travel extras when we realized our toiletry bag was left at home! Oops. The only thing that could have added to the experience would have been a grill but I'm not sure that is even allowed since ground fires aren't. But a community area with grills? Might be a nice add in the future. Thank you again!
Excellent space, there were some dead bugs around, but we were happy they were dead! :) Only complaint is there was only 1 plate, everything else was there that we needed.
A bliss hideaway among the Mountain View and perfect for a short getaway. The home was cozy and had all amenities needed. With all its charm I would say pack light. Taking large luggage up the spiral staircase is a battle but possible. There is a hot plate convenient to warm water but meal wise I would prep. Or enjoy a local spot. All in all we full enjoyed the stay and look forward to coming back again
We stayed here one night on our way to Big Bend and we were so blown away by the cuteness of the place! The kids loved having their own room upstairs. All the beds were so comfy. My only qualm was that I wish there were a physical sign upon entry indicating that all 3 heating/AC units needed to be on the same mode or they don't work. We figured that out from the VRBO message from the host but my dad did not and stayed at the other unit and never got the heater to work and was freezing all night. Need a physical sign upon entry. Otherwise, fantastic stay!!
This container tiny house was lovely and the bathrooms were amazing!! When we arrived, the front door was not locked. This made us a little nervous, but we could tell it was empty. The unit has a tankless water heater, which was brilliant for 5 people. I would only advise a max of 4 people stay there as the couch bed was very uncomfortable. The worst part of our stay was that the heaters did not work. There were 3 units and they were all blowing cold air the entire night. There were no instructions left on how to use the units so the next morning when we reported this to the management, we were told “you should have tried….” An instruction manual would have helped to eliminate that problem.
