We enjoyed our stay. Communication was clear and friendly. Self-check in was easy. The house was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The location is lovely, with it backing onto the quiet park, which you can also access through a locked gate.

A perfect little home for our family weekend away. Very clean, cosy, and in a great location close to the lake and playground. We loved the fireplace and backyard. Wonderful hosts — thank you again!

The host was very good in giving information about getting there, petrol and shopping supplies before you get there. The house did have a bit of a smell and had to open windows to get fresh air, the 2 sponge in the kitchen were so old, had to use ones we had, lucky we brought and the laundry was locked so no use of washing machine.We have stayed at about 60 properties over the past few years and this is the 2nd place that was really over priced for what you get, Henry

We sincerely apologise for the oversight with the kitchen sponges and the lingering odor upon your arrival. Our cleaner had noticed a smell left by the previous guests and aired out the space beforehand, but we regret that it was still noticeable when you arrived. We have addressed the sponge replacement process with our team to ensure fresh ones are provided for every stay. Please note that the laundry is not included as an available amenity for guests, but we understand how any lack of clarity can be frustrating. As a remote destination with unique surroundings, we continuously review our pricing against similar properties in the area to ensure fair value. but we truly value your comments and will work to keep improving. We stayed at Al'May for a few days while visiting family nearby. The house was great for our family (two young kids) and we'd stay again :)

Great winter getaway

Lovely house in a gorgeous location. Plenty of cafes in the area & close to Walhalla steam train ride & walks. The hosts were prompt with communication & made sure our stay was comfortable.

Great Location

We only stayed one night, the house was clean, warm and had everything you could need. The hosts were lovely and quick to respond. The location was so great for families, backing onto a playground and lake. We would definitely visit again!

Easy and clean

This property was the perfect place to stay. We spent all our time in Walhalla so it was an easy drive to and from there. The house was warm, cosy, well equiped and everything worked. I'd recommend it.

Very pleasant experience in high-country region

Thanks for an enjoyable winter escape experience at Al'May conveniently located close to Victoria's beautiful region. Well presented, warm accommodation with a lovely garden and the nearby park as the extension to the garden. It was suitable for our family. Rawson township does have limited shopping and dining options, but abundant in nature.

The cottage is outdated, with only one tiny toilet and a rather small bathroom, not ideal for a family of 5 or 6.We were surprised there was no wifi either.All in all a bit underwhelming considering the pricing.Best part of the home was the toilet seat...

HI Rob, thanks for your review. However, it is clearly stated in the description, no internet and you can see in the pictures that it is, a country style cottage, with 1 bathroom and separate toilets.
