Cozy Cabin!

We loved the cozy cabin, it is secluded but only a few minutes to Louisville. The town has great restaurants and a small grocery store. We enjoyed hanging out on the patio, playing Pac-Man, and watching movies. Can’t wait to come back!

Relaxing stay

Lovely stay. The birdwatching is amazing. I particularly enjoyed drinking my morning coffee and reading a book to start our days at this property.

It was a pleasure to work with the owners and they are very open to any needs that their guests may have wanted. It was a wonderful cottage close to a ton of amenities! It was very enjoyable for the whole family. The exploring was great for the kids! Thank You and we will be back!

Beautiful cabin & great hosts

This cozy cabin in the woods was so relaxing for our family vacation. We stayed for a week & enjoyed every minute of it. The Pac-Man arcade table was a fun touch that brought my husband back to his childhood. Kim & Casey are wonderful hosts!! They checked on us many times to make sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back.

The house was beautiful and the location was perfect - secluded and quiet, yet conveniently close to town. The futons seemed smaller than double beds and were not comfortable. Luckily, we brought air mattresses. Two sets of twin bunk beds in the lower level would be a nice addition.

After experiencing a fire in our home, we needed a comfortable and peaceful place to land while everything was being cleaned and sorted out — and this home was truly a blessing.It had absolutely everything we could have wanted (and more) for a home away from home. From the fully stocked kitchen to the cozy living spaces, every detail made us feel comfortable during a stressful season.The hosts were amazing. They checked in on us periodically to make sure we had everything we needed, which meant so much. Their kindness and attentiveness did not go unnoticed.One of our favorite parts? Every evening we got to watch deer wander through the property. It brought such a sense of calm and beauty during a time when we really needed it.We couldn’t recommend this place more. If you’re looking for comfort, peace, and thoughtful hosts — this is it.

Beautiful home!

My family and I (me, husband, 2 kids) stayed in this beautiful home for 2 nights while in town to attend a 50th anniversary party. It was perfect distance from the commotion, and an unexpected gem of a retreat! The house is newer and beautiful appointed - the reclaim wood throughout was my absolute favorite touch. The home is clean, kitchen fully stocked, comfortable bed and couch for sleeping, great rec room with activities and entertainment galore. The best was exploring the surrounding property. The kids loved hiking up the gravel road, finding snails and toads, climbing rocks and finding hidden treasures in the brush (57 chevy, old tractor). The owner, Kim, was extremely friendly and helpful, even turned on all of the exterior lights since we arrived well after dark. Overall, I wish we could have spent more time here - next time!

Wonderful and Fun Cabin

We lucked out to find this great place! The cabin was nearly brand new and very clean. Comfortable bedroom, with plenty of couch space for additional guests/kids. Even had toys in the basement for our kids to play with. Very friendly owners. Lots of outdoorsy things to do in the area. Even had wild raspberries ripe for the picking on the property. We initially had planned to drive into Omaha/Lincoln each day, but we ended up spending nearly all of our time at the nearby state parks. 10/10. Would recommend to a friend. Only negatives: Google maps initially took me to the wrong place, but the address/link in the booking email was correct. Not the fault of the owners...just something to be aware of. The driveway is also pretty rough, but I think that was mainly because do the recent heavy rains. Not a huge deal, but I wouldn't recommend driving in with a Ferrari or something. 🤣
