Relaxing retreat during a busy trip! Beautiful views, great hosts, and nice hiking trails in the woods behind the house. Suwa has some beautiful shrines to visit and Kim gave us great recommendations. We visited during hot July temperatures and were okay too.

Lovely house high up a hill overlooking the lake and Mt Fuji visible on clear day. We stayed two nights and regretted not staying longer. Well appointed house: comfortable and warm. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
