Caron was an excellent host checking in throughout our stay to ensure we had everything we needed. The cottage and property are exactly as described and was very clean. We enjoyed all the space in the cottage and the fenced in yard that allowed our dog to enjoy his holiday too. We enjoyed the fire pit, fishing off the dock, paddleboarding, and the different sun and shade sitting areas. We would definately look to book another holiday here again.

Hosts were fantastic and checked in with us fairly regularly. Entire cottage was very clean, we'll appointed, and very spacious for the 5 of us. There was lots to do, plenty of movies, kayaks, canoe, peddle boat, and outdoor games. Sunsets from the fire pit were amazing! Was well worth the price and I highly recommend.

This is a beautiful spot and we enjoyed our stay very much, I just wish the water pressure in the shower was better.

Hi, we wish you had let us know there was an issue with the shower as it is normally good and we have had no other complaints. The hard water in the area does clog it over time and we easily address the issue regularly. This issue could have easily been fixed if you had simply texted us.

It’s definitely wonderful experience staying in this beautiful cottage with perfect lake view, various watercraft, BBQ, etc. we enjoyed our stay and had so much fun. Host is super nice and makes sure we have everything in need.

A blissful stay

This cottage was the perfect place for a summer vacation. Everyone had a wonderful time and the lake was absolutely amazing to swim in! It’s the perfect place to watch the sunset and sunrise. Thank you to Caron for making the cottage very welcoming and having easy communication! We’ll be definitely staying again!

Loved our stay at this cottage! The dock for our boat was perfect, we got out fishing everyday. Clean and a great size for the 2 of us plus our dog. Outdoor space had great activities. Communication was good as well. Perfect on the lake location, couldn’t beat the view.

Ostranders Cottage Rice Lake

We had a short but pleasant stay at Rice Lake. The hosts communicated with us well throughout our stay and we thoroughly enjoyed all the amenities - paddle boards, kayaks and pedalboat. Our only regret was that we could not stay longer. Hoping to be back again soon!

Lovely cottage. Very clean, comfortable, fun rooftop deck over the boathouse, great to sit on the back deck and enjoy meals and sunsets overlooking the lake, lots of watercraft to enjoy. Really appreciated that the hosts provided absolutely everything (linens, towels, soap, drinking water, basic cooking needs, and not just a single roll of toilet paper!). Caron provided excellent and timely communication. Definitely recommend a stay at this great cottage!

Thank you Caron. It was the perfect spot for our family. Right on the water, fully fenced & had everything we needed for the week. The property has a view that is breathtaking & stunning sunsets that we enjoyed almost every night. Not only did we have a blast, so did the dog!!!
