This was a great place to stay to see the beautiful fall foliage. From the booking to the check out everything went very smoothly. The room was very comfortable and clean. Staff were courteous and helpful. Location was great and access was perfect. I removed stars because the pull out was broke and we couldn’t use it and also because we were told we would not be permitted to use the pool or fitness room because we booked through vrbo. This was disappointing and was not mentioned in the listing.

Our room was well-appointed and comfortable. We had a great view of the mountains. The resort amenities were nice, although we didn’t take advantage of them all. The location was great for hiking and going into Stowe to eat or shop.

Our stay at Spruce Peak Lodge was exactly as we had expected. Summer was a great time for us to be there as it was less crowded and was a very beautiful peaceful place to enjoy the mountains.
