We're conveniently located in Moruya, close to shops, the beach, mountain bike trails, golf, fishing, making it easy to enjoy the best of both worlds—natural bushland and local attractions.

Room to Play and Relax
There's space for outside games like badminton, croquet, or just kicking a ball around. Relax in the pergola with a lounge and spa or gather around the large fire pit under the stars. We are situated on 17 rural acres, and the house you will be staying in is at the rear of the property looking out over farmland and Moruya River in the distance. There is plenty of private space for you to relax and enjoy. The acreage also has a seperate farm shed and house on other parts of the property which are seperate to your space.

Home Away from Home
Inside, you'll find a large kitchen, or cook on the BBQ and dine alfresco. The open plan layout makes it easy to hang out together. We’ve got plenty of parking space too, so no worries if you're bringing bikes, or boats!

Noise is to be kept to a quiet level after midnight, and a respectful level at all other times.
As we are on tank water, a $50 fee applies if the spa needs to be drained and refilled due to misuse.

Michael and I have lived on this property for more than 20 years, raising our family here and gradually creating the place it is today.

We love good food, time outdoors exploring the coast and gathering with family and friends.

We live in a separate home on the property, far enough away to give our guests complete privacy but close enough to help if needed. We enjoy hosting because it allows other people to experience this beautiful part of the South Coast and enjoy the space, connection and change of pace that we have always valued here.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with this property more than 20 years ago. Set among 17 acres of bushland, it has beautiful views across the Moruya River to the mountains beyond, yet it is only a few minutes from town and the coast.

What we enjoy most is the balance. You can spend the morning exploring beaches, rivers, mountain-bike trails or nearby towns, then return to the quiet of the bush. It feels peaceful and secluded without being isolated - and that is what has kept us here for so long.

Moruya has a friendly country-town feel and easy access to many of the South Coast’s most beautiful places.

What makes this property unique

Bushland Escape offers something that can be difficult to find: a spacious home for groups, surrounded by nature, with plenty of room to spend time together.

The house accommodates up to 13 guests across five bedrooms, with generous indoor and outdoor living areas. Guests can gather around the large kitchen island, relax beside the wood fire, enjoy the spa under the pergola or sit around the outdoor fire pit beneath the stars. There are also peaceful corners to retreat to when someone wants a little time to themselves.

The property feels tucked away within 17 acres of bushland, with views over the Moruya River and mountains, yet it is only minutes from Moruya and around eight minutes from the nearest beach.

More than anything, Bushland Escape is designed for connection - shared meals, long conversations, laughter and unhurried time together. It is comfortable and welcoming rather than overly formal, so guests can settle in and enjoy being together.
