Excellent spot to experience some snow! Off the grid living but had all the essentials. Nothing beats a wood heater in winter, room for kids to run around and play outside, 2 minutes walk to the lake.

Beautiful little cabin to relax and unwind in. So peaceful and beautifully appointed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Best pillows I have ever come across in my travels. Woukd highly recommend this cabin.

Lovely quirky cabin that needs nothing else.We had a lovely relaxing stay despite it raining the whole time we were there.Great communication with easy to follow instructions for access on arrival. Plenty of fire wood available for the fire that warmed the whole cabin.For future guests, remember to do your shopping on the way as there are no shops just around the corner.

A clean, spacious character cabin with warm cosy fire, and warm comfy beds essential as it was snowing outside. Although near the lake and bush, it was located with other hydro houses and buildings which detracted from the wilderness feel.Otherwise it met our needs.

We enjoyed everything about this cabin. Views and environment are brilliant. The cabin delivered everything promised and was perfectly clean and organised.Erin (host) was prompt with replies to any questions I had.It was the perfect base for us to check out and fish many of the highland lakes within an easy drive.We will have no hesitation booking again.

Great getaway

The cabin was well set up and very comfortable, and just a few minutes drive from the spectacular alpine areas of the world heritage conservation zone. We enjoyed some great hikes within an easy drive of the cabin, and in the evenings relaxed with the lake view and then made use of the comfy couch by the fire.
