Panoramic views of Nelson! Large, bright ground-level private studio guesthouse in a custom-built executive mountain home.

Cool in the summer, cozy in the winter. Newly renovated, well-appointed, and fully-stocked for long or short-term living.

Featuring a new queen-sized bed, a comfortable sectional that converts to a double sofabed, modern, comfortable furniture, a well-equipped full-sized kitchen and large, bright windows.

Enjoy your private patio in the spring, summer and fall with a seasonal seating area, fire pit which is yours exclusively to use, and garden.

The space is equipped with a smart TV, wifi, board games, colouring books, and activities, as well as in-suite laundry facilities equipped with a washer and dryer. Plus storage for your bike, skis, or kayak!

We are listed on another platform and have over 100 reviews, with a 4.90 average!

We live upstairs with our school-aged children, so you will likely hear some noise from time to time (e.g., footsteps, chitter chatter), but we try our best to be respectful of those below us. That said, if you are sensitive to noise or plan to be in the suite for a large portion of your stay, we may not be the best fit for you!

Lovely suite

Lovely suite was the perfect size for us. The location was ideal for our visit to Nelson and area. The suite is very clean and cozy - it has everything you need. Sarah and family are amazing and wonderful hosts. We would stay there again and recommend this lovely place to others. We really enjoyed our stay! Merci!

I enjoyed my stay so much in this cozy appartement. The host family was so nice and helpful, and the surrounding was very beautiful. It has a wonderful view. There was nothing I could have missed. I would stay there again.

cle.an modern home.lovely property.But there was no bathtub which i needed badly for my sore neck i needed to soak ,maybe thats my fault for not noticing in the add. owners live upstairs which was not made known to me so i felt i did not have the privacy i wanted plus we shared a common door DID NOT like that at all.. I was home all day one day with a bad headache and i got no peace and quiet as the owners live upstairs and were very noisy with children.( not doing things to make noise on purpose just people living their lives but i NEEDED QUIET and i wanted Privacy so this was not the place for me BUT i find it very annoying that the add said it was a 15 min walk to town.I am in good shape and teach dance and fitness so i have no problem with a 15 minute walk BUT it was a 30 minute walk sothat was very disapointing .

Great place to stay in Nelson

Excellent location. Nice easy walk to downtown. Very comfortable accommodation for 2, a bit tight for more. Well equipped kitchen. Has everything need for eating in when you want to save money. Easy and prompt communication with the owner who lives upstairs.

The kitchen was well-stocked for a studio suite. The bed was comfortable. The location was great. This is a downstairs suite so upstairs noise can be heard when the family is home, but it didn’t bother us at all. The check-in process was smooth. We enjoyed the outdoor seating area. We would stay here again.

We are on arguably the best view street in Nelson, a 15-minute walk to Baker Street (20-25 uphill back!) and a 15-minute drive to Whitewater Ski Resort.

What makes this property unique

Located in the Gyro-Fairview neighbourhood near downtown Nelson, about a 15-minute walk to Baker St and the beach. We are surrounded by natural beauty and outdoor activities whether you are visiting in the spring and summer or fall and winter.

Nelson, British Columbia is a world-renowned ski destination, with Whitewater Ski Resort a 15 minute drive away, and RED Mountain Resort in Rossland about an hour. In 2012, Whitewater in Nelson and RED in Rossland (a small city southwest of Nelson) were jointly voted the best ski locales in North America by the readers of California-based Powder magazine.

Baldface is local as well, if you are more into snowcat boarding & skiing.

In the spring, summer, and fall, Nelson becomes a mountain biking mecca. "Showcased in many mountain bike films, Nelson trails offer everything from gentle railway grades to steep, rooty technical tracks." - Nelson Kootenay Lake Tourism.

We are on the West arm of Kootenay Lake, a stunning glacier-fed lake - the largest natural lake in southern British Columbia. In the summer, our little city turns into an outdoor lake paradise. With all of the paddling, birding, sailing, caving, climbing, hiking, fishing, swimming, floating and general summer fun to enjoy, you can't go wrong visiting our region no matter the season.
