Relaxing Birdsong Bungalow

Step into tranquility at our minimalist and private 1st floor bungalow, a haven designed for calm and peace. Adorned with decor inspired by birds, florals, timeless elegance of Matisse, William Morris and exquisite Indian imports, this three-bedroom retreat offers a unique blend of art and nature. Located directly in front of a serene park with glimpses of the lake from the front door, and just a short walk from Main Street, it's the perfect escape.

The space

Living Area: An open-concept living room bathed in natural light, featuring eclectic decor that includes Matisse-inspired artwork, William Morris patterns, and Indian touches that create a harmonious and inviting atmosphere.

Bedrooms: Three thoughtfully designed bedrooms, each with its own unique bird and floral theme, ensuring a restful and peaceful night's sleep.

Kitchen: A modern, fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to prepare delicious meals.

Garden: A private garden where you can relax and soak in the peaceful surroundings.

Guest access

A friendly French lady, Bibi, serves as the concierge of the property and lives in the basement but do have a private entrance and do not share the top floor space. You will be personally greeted by her and she will be there to support you and answer any questions. If guests need laundry services, she will do it for them upon request.

Hello my stay was more than I expected home was very nice clean and Host was very nice which was great after travelling across Canada and after renting motels it was nice to relax in a quiet place bibi was very accommodating and very friendly would recommend to anyone with children because of a playground right across a quiet street

The property and surrounding areas are absolutely stunning, and the hostess Bibi did a great job helping us get settled into our place. She isn't the owner but works with the owner of the property to help out and keeps the house looking fantastic! Be sure to ask her about the birds! Only one set of towels for the duration of our stay and no access to laundry made us have to hit the expensive Laundromat to clean our towels but other than that it's a great spot to stay in a beautiful lakeside town

The house was well appointed with a newly renovated kitchen. The location was fantastic and very quiet! The house could use some updating and TLC but the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was very functional and clean.

Main Floor rental with comfort. Beds were very comfortable and and the entire place had a cozy feel to it. Right across from a great park for kids and close to the heart of port dover

Festival

There were 4 of us that stayed at this place: we were attending a women’s festival close by. Everything was perfect for us. Bibi helped us with check in. She was very pleasant and explained the rules. We did not have any issues with check in and check out. Our group will definitely book this place again next year for the festival!
