Our first of many stays at the Hotel Ivory

Had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. The stand out part of this hotel were the staff. Very friendly and welcoming to us on our first ever stay. Room was very comfortable and food excellent. We’ll be back.

Worst hotel we have stayed at in years

Hotel was not what it seemed in the photos. Pool only open for a couple hours a day, pool opens extremely late and closes extremely early. No ability to get coffee in the morning. They never serviced room or replenished towels. No Tissues in the room. Uncomfortable beds. Limited hours for breakfast/lunch. Way too many children. Awful, loud children music and activities in the evening. Never replenished water in the room. Not close to many restaurants.

Best hotel ever !

Fantastic Stay at Ivory Playa – Perfect for All Ages! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing stay at the Ivory Playa Hotel in Alcúdia! The location is absolutely perfect — just steps away from the beautiful beach and close to all the major attractions in Alcúdia. Whether you’re looking to explore the old town, enjoy water activities, or just relax by the sea, everything is within easy reach. The hotel itself is super family-friendly with entertainment and activities for all ages. From kids’ programs to evening shows and wellness options for adults, there’s always something to do. The food was excellent — fresh, varied, and delicious at every meal. What truly stood out was the staff — warm, welcoming, and always happy to help. They really made us feel at home. Parking was also a breeze, with plenty of spaces available, which made getting around the island even easier. Highly recommend this hotel for families, couples, or anyone looking for a relaxing, fun-filled vacation in Alcúdia!

Overall good experience with nice room, great view, excellent spa and good food. Not so good: Lack of kids’ entertainment (a kids disco was advertised every day and happened only once), lots of ants in the room (had to buy ant baits from the supermarket)

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious enough, the pools are nice and the beach is within walking distance. Staff is super friendly! We also like the breakfast and dinner buffet, enough choice and different options everyday.

Good location, bad beds.

The hotel has a spot on location. Near shops and subway. The staff was really friendly and the room was nice. We upgraded the room to a signature room because I need a good bed. The bed in the room was the worse bed I ever had in my life. I have travel a lot, but this was really bad. We woke up every morning with pain in the back. The bad didn’t have a top matress. The staff told the housekeeper to put on a matress. They gave us a duvet. The next day I complain, and they give me one moore duvet to sleep on. That didn’t help.. I travel a lot, and would like to stay at the hotel again, if they change beds.

Excellent hotel for young family. Kid friendly activities like face painting, mini disco twice every day. Breakfast buffé and dinner spread was very vast and tasted amazing!! Indoor spa with jacuzzi, sauna etc were fantastic. Even when the weather was rainy outside, we had a wonderful day within the hotel. Sea is just around the corner of the building. Heated outdoor pool is big and nice! Very friendly and helpful personnel, most of them speak good English!

Quite a good base and very good accomodation with all the ameneties. Lots of restaurants with in 10-15 min walking, bike shop in front of hotel, lovely beach in 1-2 min walk behind the hotel and overall the self catering accomodation with very good room sizes.

A place to go back to...

This was an amazing beach front hotel. It was very well run and offered full and half board, massages, spa treatments, outdoor pools, including a heated one, and lots of other things. It was right across the street from a bicycle rental shop, which I used. I would love to stay there again.

Lovely hotel , bit of pain getting beds by pool in morning having to que . staff and entertainment team were all very friendly and helpful ,the shows at the hotel were good entertainment team worked hard on those. Rooms too old and the cleaning very superficial. The position close to the beach is a positive think but we have been negative impressed by the old style of the rooms and by its poor cleaning.

The hotel is from 80s which you easily can tell. The room and the common areas doesn't look as good as in the pictures. This applies particularly to the corridors, the gym and the outdoor area. The location is close to the busstop and the beach which is nice, however its quite far to Alcudia/Port the Alcudia and good grocery stores. The bike storage is not in the hotel building, but just a few meters away and very good!

Lovely location very nice people but it wasn’t for us. The positives - the location is amazing. Close to a stunning beach. The staff are lovely. The kids entertainers are especially good and had lots of lovely activities such as facepainting and bracelet making. The breakfast was really good. We are vegetarian but it was a good selection. The bad: The entertainment was insanely loud and went on until 1030 ever evening. They very kindly changed our room to one that was further away but it was still loud. Sitting on the balcony we had to shout to hear each other and it really ruined it for us. If you want somewhere with lots of entertainment and enjoy a lively atmosphere you will love it but it wasn't for us.
