Comfortable hotel in ideal location to explore

Friendly reception and good service offered at this hotel. Decent pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Beds are extremely comfortable - but if you can drag yourself out of them, you're in a great location to explore the beautiful Tahoe area. Enjoy!

Bad towel policy....

When i arrived reception made me sign aform saying acharge would be put to me if i dirted the towels. Fine i thought until i got to my room and saw the pile of yellow towels and flannels caked in someone elses stains and make up marks. staff brought up 3 fresh piles of towels all dirty. I went to safeways and brought my own.....

968 Park Hotel Lake Tahoe

We stopped here overnight enroute to Yosemite. The checkin clerk was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are different and a little dated however we were only there for an overnight stay. There were ants in our room on the tiles coming from somewhere. I called front-desk but there was no answer. I then went downstairs and after waiting 10 mins without being acknowledge I left and went to sleep as I was tired. The lady at front-desk was more concerned about serving drinks to the 2 customers and talking to them. I may try and find another hotel if I stay at Lake Tahoe again

Good location, good deal in South Lake Tahoe

Very friendly and helpful service. Everything met expectations. Great central location for South Lake Tahoe and Nevada. Only negative item was WiFi coverage weak in the rooms.

968 Park Hotel, South Lake Tahoe

We enjoyed our stay at this conveniently situated hotel. The fixtures and fittings were all well maintained and very "green". We would stay again. Negative points: No air conditioning made it quite uncomfortable when hot, despite 2 fans provided. No activity flyers in room or lobby - this meant a trip into Heavenly to find out about boat trips, cycle hire etc. Breakfast was simple: Orange juice, muffin and tea/coffee.

Lovely hotel

I would highly recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. The rooms were lovely and were very clean with modern bathrooms. The bed was the comfiest ive ever slept in and the only downside was that it was quite hot in the room and there was no air con, only a fan which didnt seem to cool the room down also there was no fridge to keep our drinks cold but there was an ice machine. Other than that, i really enjoyed staying at this hotel. Its close to shops including a Starbucks and lots of restaurants.

modest, comfotable and clean

This Hotel is modest, but provided a calm pleasant place to stay. It is close enough to the town centre to feel included in whats going on, but far enough away to be restful and quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful and there are pleanty of places to eat nearby and supermarkets within easy walking distance.

Good Hotel

Had read various reviews before booking-thought some were hyped up! But after staying can say, good location,clean rooms,bed linen,towels,carpet very luxurious.Only down side is no air conditioner.Jacuzzi and pool area very comfortable.Staff friendly

Under renovation! No breakfast No spa No bar No restaurant! Bed was not comfortable, fridge was in poor location, noticed some trash underneath the dresser on 1st day, and shower head was the worst only 5 holes poured out!! We stayed 3 nights and no one plowed snow!Great location I'll give it that,

We stayed for one night for a ski trip. The hotel appears to be in transition, using 3 different names - 968 Park Hotel, Park Tahoe Inn, and Hotel Becket. This was unknown to us and we had to guess where to park and where to check in. They were still cleaning rooms at 5:00, so had to wait another hour. However, they softened the wait with 2 free drink tickets. The room looked recently remodeled, but they did not repair or replace everything. The room was clean, warm, and comfortable, and we woke up to 6" of overnight snow. Right across from Heavenly Village, with shopping, dining, ice skating, night life, movie theater all within a very short walk.
