Rice field paradise

We adored this little villa right on the rice field, perfect size for a little couple getaway with perfect amount of privacy- staff extremely helpful and very friendly, organising our dinner and personal massages as soon as we checked in (I might add we didn’t arrive til 7pm) Overall, excellent service, lovely villa, very happy with our stay.

We loved staying at Umi Padi Villas next to some rice paddies. Our villa was spectacular and within walking distance to stores, restaurants and all the things you’d want to do. There are some fabulous small restaurants and massage places a few steps from Umi Padi which we really enjoyed.

Loved it. Perfect stay for being close to ubud but not deep in the busy area. Perfect for relaxing and the staff were amazing. So accomodating and lovely. I already miss uma padi already. the breakfast is fantastic too.

Family run motel with friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful private pool. Supplied breakfast was very nice. Staff was extremely helpful in organising activities. Our driver was very insightful and provided us with lots of knowledge of local customs. Would definitely recommend Uma Padi for a relaxing stay in Bali.

We absolutely loved our stay at Uma Padi villas. The Villa was really well appointed, with a comfy 4 poster bed, gorgeous bathroom with a giant tub and seperate rain shower (with good water pressure!), and the pool was a great size. The place was really clean and the staff were exceptionally helpful and attentive. We would highly recommend staying here and hope to be back ourselves on our next trip to Bali.

Very unique, small family villas, a little outside of Ubud, so would be convenient to arrange a daily driver or rent a motorbike. But the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, we had an authentic Ubud experience there

Uma Padi was amazing. 5 of us rented out the entire property for our stay. The one bedroom villa, pool and garden view room was well appointed with a comfy 4 poster bed and amazing bathroom with large tub and stone shower. The staff was readily available and made a delicious breakfast for us each day. We had a lovely outdoor kitchen in a beautiful outdoor garden with plunge pool. I highly recommend Uma Padi if you want to away from the hustle and bustle of the center of town, but want to be close enough to be walkable.

First things first. Thank you Nyoman, you got us everywhere. Tucked in a calm corner of Ubud, this really felt like a home away from home. Close enough to everything in Ubud, including the Monkey Forest. Family owned and authentic feeling. The view of the rice field was beautiful. Others have spoken about how the next villa, which is two floors, looks over this one bed villa. They've taken care of that by adding more foliage between the two. So, absolute privacy. From the smiling pick up at the airport, which in our case had to be rescheduled on the fly, to the smiling drop off at the other villa we stayed at in Seminyak, Nyoman and the rest of his family took amazing care of us. If you want to stay in Ubud, I can't recommend this villa more.

We rented the 3 apt villa for a family of 6. It was not clear in the description that the rooms were all separate and one was upstairs. The living spaces are outdoors. It was very spacious but we had planned on being more together like you would in a house. The bathrooms were not clean, lots of mildew. The staff was friendly and helpful. Often felt rushed at breakfast due to over eagerness for staff to remove plates and dishes. Wished they would just remove once we were done eating. There is no longer a shuttle service as described in the Expedia review so we had to call for rides. Staff also arranged a driver for us when we were departing.

The villa was incredible. Private pool. Two levels with balcony overlooking a rice patty field. Outdoor living area. Stunningly beautiful. And the best part of the Villa however was our driver, Ariawan "Ari". Ari picked us up from the airport and drove us wherever we wanted for our 3 day stay in Ubud. He gave us great recommendations on places to go. During our drives he told us lots of info about the fascinating history and culture of Bali. He happily answered my many questions too. He even drove us to Nusa Dua and spent a full day there driving us around. His prices were quite affordable. I highly recommend the Villa and Ari's driving services. Our vacation would not have been as enjoyable without him.

Amazing value

I had a very nice stay here. The villa is private, spacious, and spotlessly clean. The staff are friendly and breakfast is delivered to your villa at a time specified by you. The location is just 10 minutes by bike along a straight road to the town centre.

수영장은 깨끗해 보이진 않았어요. 첫날은 괜찮았는데 밤에 비가 많이 와서 그랬을지도.. 자연친화적이라 벽에 도마뱀, 개구리 있어요. 아이들이 수영하다 신기해서 도마뱀 따라다니고..풀벌레 소리에 잠들고 깨고..좋았어요. 그런거 싫어 하시면 고려해 보세요. 도보 3분거리에 맛난 한식당(클라우드 9)있고, 하루 두번 우붓시내로 무료 셔틀 운행해요(10분소요). 시간이 정해진게 아니라, 투숙객이 원하는 시간에 태워주고, 시내로 태우러 오고..좋았어요.(객실에 리셉션과 연락가능한 전화기가 없는데, 전용 폰을 하나 줘요. 그걸로 우붓시내에서 전화하면 10분만에 태우러 오심) 청소상태나 전반적인 서비스는 나쁘지 않은데..월드체인호텔 수준을 기대하진 마세요. 캐주얼한 서비스 정도?ㅎㅎ 참고로 주변에 뭐가 없긴 한데..셔틀로 시내나갔을 때 사오면 됩니다. 논이라 정말 조용하고..좋았어요. 전 아무거나 잘먹고 무던해서 그런지..좋았어요. 나중에 기회 된다면 한달살고 싶네요.

Only like the fact that it has a private pool. The rest are pretty disappointing. Property not maintained well, linens cleanliness are poor - in fact, the comforter smells bad. Staff coordination is superb lousy or don’t keep their words. Had requested for late check out by an hour when checkin. Despite being granted after a call, 2 other staffs kept telling me that I must check out by 12 on 2 separate occasions the next day, which is super annoying.
