Great to return to the Jinglun after something of an absence. Everything that was grand before remains grand, and the continuing remodelling of rooms continues apace.

Overpriced with bad WiFi, Food, Air Con & Decor.

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID . . . Hotel didn't turn on the air-conditioning and windows so small they let in no fresh air, WiFi barely usable, Gym equipment was poorly maintained and in the case of the bike it was broken and presented a risk of injury, breakfast buffet cold and not stocked adequately, general decor so retro (in a bad way) compared to newer hotels in Beijing which are the same or just 10% more like the Marriott. I literally have no positive things to say except the staff were ok and the location in CBD was handy. Please avoid. Beijing has so much better you can find better. This place is outdated and not suitable for couples, business trips or any other traveller I can think off. Hotels.com do you not check out these places and validate the quality?

Very helpful staff

My parents were alone and I called front desk to support. They were so helpful and constantly kept a look out for them. And even gave me timely updates while I was away for work. This really feels very assuring. I appreciate them.

Worst hotel ever

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed it. It lacks basic amenities such as toilet soap, shampoo etc in the room even though it is classified as a 5 star hotel. It also lacks kettle service. The overall hotel is run down and seems to have been purchased from a different owner. The new owner hasn't even bothered to repaint the old owners name as it is faded on one side of the building.

Definitely recommend!

Nice hotel with great facilities very close to The Place in Beijing which has some nice restaurants. Big rooms and very comfy beds. Great for business or pleasure.

Hotels.com booking was not found, and they put me initially in a cheaper basic room which was horrific. breakfast was included in my booking, but when I arrived they said it wasn't. Rubbish!!!

Slow internet and low ceiling hotel

Turnover at reception is quite high. They have no sense of service. Hotel room facing the street is quite noisy. Internet speed is slow. I doubt they vacuum the room. However, location is good

Over Rated Hotel

The room facing the street is very noisy from traffic noise resulted difficulty to sleep. The mattress is old and sagging which result back pain in the next morning. Amenities is not complete; no razor blade and sugar in the room. When sugar is requested, the room service said they have to charge for 2 small packs of sugar. Inconceivable! A friend visited me and they were not allow to go up. I wonder why the staff did not confirm to me by calling me in the room to confirm about my friend visit instead I had to go down to pick my friend at the lobby, which create inconvenient to me. Worst, at the elevator, the guard told me that my guest have to register in the front desk in order to go up. Inconceivable! Definitely, the hotel has no idea about generally accepted international standard despite they are apart of Nikko hotel chain.

Public rooms are o.k. but bedrooms badly need of refurbishment. Blocked toilet not attended to despite requests. Staff pleasant. Would choose another hotel for my next visit.

Best to get an upgrade!

I have stayed in this hotel before and the room was very average but I upgraded this time (for free :) and found the business executive rooms to be much more comfortable. Location is great for the silk market and metro. Restaurants are good

Nice hotel, good location

This is a decent hotel with nice restaurants and a good pool/ sauna. Rooms were a bit basic but other colleagues have said theirs were very nice so I suppose it depends on how much you spend. Wifi was very poor but I think this is fairly standard for Mainland China. Overall fine!

Conveniently located and reasonably priced

Whilst customer service leaves something to be desired the hotel is clean and rooms are good quality in a great location for Chaoyang district and easy walking distance to the subway.
