Good value but room for improvement
The apartment was spacious if the decor was tired and carpets dirty. Overall the stay was good value but the apartment needed a clean with lots of cobwebs and bathrooms with lots of hairs. The cups and saucers hadn't been washed properly and there were three of us staying but we got 2 knives and forks. I would also recommend that they returned their TV services as several free to air tv stations were not available such as UTV Ireland or 3e. Spacious and conveniently located but a good scrub would go a long way to improving things as would a lick of paint
All of the shower drains were clogged and we ended up only being able to use 2 of the 4 showers in the dorm. Either than that the rooms were clean and comfortable. We arrived late in the evening so the reception was a bit stressful.

sehr kleine betten und ein sehr kleines bad ansonsten sehr schön
Very nice location, wonderful staff and great parking. Would have been a greater experience if the beds would be a little bigger but then again maybe I should have requested more details.
We had a wonderful stay at the University Hall Apartments, with 3 small kids the idea of a week cramped in a hotel room did not appeal...this apartment on the other hand was the ideal accommodation for us. Living area, kitchen, 4 double rooms all ensuite..perfect! The living/ kitchen area is really bright, fully stocked with all utensils and crockery you need, bedrooms all really clean and lits of power points throughout. Only advice would be to bring doorstops with you as the bedroom doors are all heavy fire doors so if you have little ones who want to run about you will need to wedge them to keep them open. Other than that, everything was great. A centra shop right beside you with all you need, Chinese restaurant behind you, easy access to the city centre..20 minute walk or hop on a bus that goes every 10/15 mins into the city..Ideal family accommodation!! Would recommend it without a doubt!
It's hard to write a bad review because the people were so nice. But the hotel is definitely not well represented by the photos or the star rating. Our room was a typical dorm room set up with three private rooms, 2 with private baths, and one in the open hall. They were fine in size and fairly comfortable. The kitchen and sitting area was large and clean. It wasn't inviting or comfortable. The parking area was pretty tricky to get in to. It was an easy walk to the town center on a busy road. It was noisy at night outside the hotel as well as with the other guests running up and down the halls above our head. I wouldn't stay here unless I was 18 years old and the hostel was full. Very expensive for what was offered.

noisy all night
main disappointment is noise of students coming back at all hours of the night.
This was a very pleasant experience, for us we would rate it a 5 however, it's not for everyone. It's an actual college dorm and our floor consisted of 5 bedrooms with showers and toilet. at the end of the hallway was a wonderful side kitchen/living room area with great views of the city of Cork. For our family it was wonderful, we each had our own room and gathered in the living room for meals and visiting. It ad a full size kitchen with stove, oven, fridge......just a great little place and secure in one area that no one else had access too. Also have laundry room on campus. Great experience!!
