The main building was beautiful with high arched ceilings. It was beautifully decorated and fresh flowers daily. The water features were lovely, with some large fish in some. The restaurant we used was the large one down stairs. We used the smaller room off the main as it was air-conditioned and less busy. Our room was on the 3rd floor of one of the annexes, and was wonderful, - beautifully appointed, with a balcony overlooking the excellent pool. The staff were very friendly and gave excellent service without exception. The buffet dinners and breakfast were excellent. Sorry - keep repeating excellent but it all was! Loved the wonderfully maintained gardens. Also used the beach bar which was right on the beach and very friendly service (Must mention Dev who made me the best ever margaritas.) As we were at the end of the monsoon season, it wasn't doing food all day, but we tried a beach bar snack one evening before dinner and it was delicious.

I was here to Celebrate my Husbands Birthday. It was our First outing together and hence wanted it to be the Best Memory for our Life time. Which certainly happened with the help of: Ritu Ma'am (Head of Housekeeping Dept) Miss Josh (Sales and Event Dept) Mr. MINGUEL(Manager of Housekeeping Team) And last but not the least Miss Marlin (housekeeping Staff) This team made sure that every thing was upto the mark and kept upto my expectations. The Room decor was very nice simple and sober. My Husband Loved the Surprise. Thanks a Ton to the team for making may expectations come true without me being there to guide them. I would also Like to get into your notice about the restaurant an attendee named Melvin (Ala Cart restaurant) One of the best attendee you will find amongst the bunch of an Excellent Staff. Overall The Best Experience and Staff with a Gr8 location,amenities and Staff. Thank you all.. I hope we meet up soon Team...keeping my fingers crossed.

Caravela Beach Resort is wonderful, the staff was helpful, kindly talked to me , helping in any way they where able too. I felt comfortable staying alone in the Resort . I loved the food , breakfast was amazing !!!!

The hotel was very nice and very close to the bea

We had a terrible experience checking in as our rooms were not ready and then when they were they were very dirty and had to be cleaned. After that and many complaints we had a lovely stay and the staff were great. Food was not good as there was very little selection and it was mostly curry. At the bar restraunts/cafes the wait for food was very long even though they had very few people to serve. The beach was not very accessible for the elderly as you had to go do a very steep sandy slope.

Very nice hotel close to beach

It was pleasant stay for two days. Very good staff and hospitality given was also very good. I was carrying 1 year baby specially for her food all was given complimentary. We would sure like to visit again with other family members. Two lady staff (sorry dont no there name exactly) at front deskhad helped us lot one for shifting room near pool side on our request and other lady had taken care of my kid comfort after checking out till our waiting period. Thanks to all for there service.

7 night stay in paradise

We stayed 7 nights in this resort and I can honestly say that it was a fantastic experience. We checked in after a long and hot day and were provided with refreshments and a cool wet towel upon arrival. The facility is massive and the lobby is very impressive. The staff are super friendly and service minded. Special thanks to Pavani, Rhoditas, Rakesh and Gurmeet for making the stay extra special. The pool area deserves 3 hours or so a day spent there with a island bar to make it extra fun Bored at the pool? then do a short walk from the pool to the private beach through the garden. The beach is fantastic with a nice shack. However as the season hadnt started during our stay the beach shack was closed. We also decided to take golf lessons one day which would have been fun but the instructor didnt give us the full hour as promised and refused to admit so after as well. I wouldnt recommend the gold activity unless you are keeping strict time and making sure the instructor knows it.

Not worthy of a 5*

Good location and grounds but not to 5* standard. The dining areas were dirty and full of flies. Dirty tables, windows and floors. Breakfast was chaotic. Often, you would return to your table to find it occupied with other guests. Our room was clean but dated. This hotel needs a thorough clean and make over. We stayed over Diwali and it was noisy and full with young children and families. I feel this hotel is more suited for Indian families and seems to cater to their needs. I would not recommend it for young couples or single travellers. If you can afford it, go to the Leela or Alila Diwa.

Nice long weekend get away

Everyone at Caravela was great - special thanks to Monika (hospitality/dining) and Marcellino (dining). The room was kept in great shape by a hard-working staff. The only negative - maybe common in this part of the world - was poor sound-proofing between the rooms. This gives a reduced sense of privacy, and noise level in the evening. But all in all, a very good experience - we recommend it and would return. Thanks!

Very stressful stay

Room was not very clean. Full of misquotes. Took 3 days to take bleeping sound of phone. Took 3 days to listen to our complaints. Asked to change our room. No one listened to our requests. We're here to attend family wedding and to relax.

Ramada has everything - best of comfort

Had best of everything. Hotel and the staff nothing left for "asking for more". Ocean view room was fascinating- particularly for senior citizens - amazing view of the golf course and ocean. Best part was watching the sunset from room's balcony. Had visited Ramada in August stayed in Garden room - we chose ocean view room - enjoyed every minute - though quite expensive than the garden room. Breakfast was awesome and the room service was very efficient. Perfect stay - will be back to Ramada in August 2017 - keeping fingers crossed! Thanks Ramada for making our stay a memorable one

Good option to stay away from crowd and relax.

My first time experience with Ramada is very good. Enjoyed the serene beach, less crowd and cleanliness. Swimming pool & other facilities of resort are equally good. Only thing did not worked out well for us is that our rooms were on 2nd floor & there is no lift. Going up/down multiple times was a pain for my parents. Would have preferred rooms which are at lower levels but was not informed by the staff upfront. Property is under renovation.

A piece of heaven

This was my fourth trip to Goa and thanks to Ramada the most memorable one. Hotel and Ambience : In Goa “Beach Resort” is a much used and abused word by hotels, with the beach sometimes being more than a couple of kilometres away. However Ramada is truly a beach resort – one just has to walk through their beautiful landscaped garden, which ends at the beach. Food : The breakfast buffet is spectacular with 3 live counters for dosas/uttapams, eggs and pancakes/waffles, cheeses, bacon, sausage, idlis, puris, jalebi Service : The people are truly exceptional and you will be greeted with beaming smiles and cheery “Good Mornings”. Everyone is eager to please and goes out of the way to serve customers. Transquinha at the front desk is helpful and cheerful. A special note of thanks to Swapnesh Shetkar who was our server for lunch and dinner on most days. He was superb. A good server should be able to satisfy customer needs but what made Swapnesh incredible was his ability to anticipate our needs before we had even a chance to bring it up – he would be in the background and just a look up and he would be at the table to fulfil the need. Very seldom have I come across such a wonderful server and thanks to him eating in the restaurant was a pleasure. All in all an experience of a lifetime. If you want to experience a piece of heaven without dying then head for Ramada

A Perfect Place to Stay!!!!

Nothing negative to say about this place. Everything right from the hotel rooms, the staff, the food was perfect. The staff was cooperative and would answer your queries in a polite way. The amenities were well maintained. The hotel beach was kept clean. Overall the stay was very pleasant.
