The moment we entered the garage and was met by an employee we knew this hotel was going to be excellent. We were shown around the hotel by the employee and she booked us in no trouble. We got to our room and was advised we could use a Samsung smart phone to use as a guide around Florence and provide information on the hotel. Amazing service. The junior suite was gorgeous. It had its own coffee machine in the kitchenette. The lounge/dining area was spacious with a leather sofa and dining table. A DVD player and sky TV. The bathroom was spacious as was the bedroom. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and it was excellent and good value for money. I would certainly come here again and highly recommend.

Amazing. If you're going to Florence, stay here!

This was by far our favourite hotel to date. We loved our stay here and the food and service were outstanding. If we ever take another trip to Florence, we will without a doubt be booking here. Firstly we were upgraded from a junior suite to a deluxe suite upon arrival. The room was spacious, comfortable, clean and had spectacular views. I got the impression though that no room/suite would disappoint! The staff were extremely helpful and nothing seemed to be too much. The staff are on hand to give lifts to the bus stop at the drop of a hat. Make sure you take them up on the offer as the roads are treacherous to walk down (it's about 800m to the bus stop into Florence but the bus back stops right outside the hotel). We had our first evening meal at the hotel and were so impressed with the food and the service that we had our second and last evening meal here too. I highly recommend the selection of Tuscan meats platter as a starter to share. They also bring you a basket of fresh breads along with a local delicacy as an appetiser for free, the first night this was soaked breadcrumbs with vegetables and the second night was a garlic and parsley butter bread bites. The service was attentive and the staff shared details of the local delicacies etc. The pool is small but plenty big enough for the resort as there aren't many people around during the day to use it. The backdrop is outstanding and the stone walls of the hotel/hill side are impressive.

Nice hotel but out of town

Nice room, spacious but considering it was a suite no balcony. Shower was poor. Staff very friendly and helpful but were over whelmed in the restaurant. After waiting over 100 mins for dinner gave up and went to bed.

Excellent hotel in Florence ..

Excellent hotel. Expedia should take out Air Conditioning for the room amenities as we found out the hard way (in Padova) that Italian law stipulates that A/C cannot be turned on until May or late April. We did select this hotel based on the A/c working. Expedia please reword your advertisement saying - seasonal A/C as you are miss selling the hotel. Apart from the A/C everything was fine. The guy in reception, Alessandro, the lady who was there in the Antares during breakfast and the gardener were extremely helpful and polite. We didn't meet anyone else. Breakfast and dinner were good. Pool is not heated. The location is one of the best we have stayed. Car parking is very good (chargeable). This has beautiful views over Florence.

Beautiful hotel with lovely staff!

I could not recommend the hotel enough. The view is amazing, I have never seen anything like it! The staff were all so friendly and lovely, we felt so welcome and truly enjoyed every minute. If you have the chance to go, do it! You won't regret it!!!!!

Eden Rock Resort - Tuscany

Stayed in the panoramic suite of the resort. The suite was large, with a big balcony with views over Florence to die for. Staff was very helpful and polite at all times - specially mentioning Daniele, Alessandro and Walter. The centre of the city was a short hop and skip by car. All in all, a very pleasant stay. I would happily recommend the hotel to family and friends.

It's a city hotel, but not as you know it

I stayed with my husband and two children aged 3 and 7 for one night. After staying in two other very traditional styled properties on our 9 day Tuscan holiday, it was wonderful to come to this clean and modern hotel. Our sat nav directed us straight to the hotel, which was only a 10 minute drive from the centre of Florence. The underground parking has CCTV and we were more than happy to pay 15 Euros to park there. We were thrilled to be so close to the centre of Florence, but feel like we were in the hills of Tuscany. The pool is picturesque and great for cooling off in. The food at dinner was great. The breakfast is underwhelming, but it does the job. Having eaten so much the night before in the restaurant, a bowl of cereal was just fine! It feels secluded and exclusive due to the fact there are only 12 suites all of which are nestled into the rock. The staff are lovely, and clearly enjoy working there. If you want the Four Seasons - go there. If you want a quirky retreat, a short drive from the town centre, with warm hospitality - this is it.

Great views, extremely relaxing

We booked a junior suite for a family stay during Easter. The hotel offered me an upgrade to an executive suite, which had a huge living room with panoramic view of the city of Firenze. This is definitely the type of hotel to stay in Tuscany, just 15 mins drive to the city.

We arrived late {1030pm} with only one night stay due to airline cancellations, but Sylvia at the front desk was more than willing to help us in any way possible. Room is huge & modern, incredibly view. Breakfast :delightful staff, many options, incredible coffee! Clash check out with a nice man who helped us out with our luggage on a rainy day!

We loved it here. Our rooms were beautiful and we enjoyed using the pool. It was easy to catch a bus into Florence and the managers were really helpful with all of our questions. Finally, we loved the breakfast each morning, and we enjoyed a nice dinner poolside our first night.
