Just what you need for a transit stop over. Great location, friendly staff, nice beds. Maybe throw in some earplugs as there's some traffic noise but hey, that's just Dar for you

It was a lovely place to spend couple of hours there before the long flight journey. The staff kindly provided us an early breakfast and arranged the airport shuttle.

I feared for my safety.

On approaching the Lodge I was in fear, the road was appauling, the lodge was isolated and an evening stroll is NOT recommended!!The staff was rude on many occasions. Breakfast is not as advertised. ...just eggs and they don't cook it to your desire. For an overnight stay ONLY then ok they do have a shuttle service.....

Convenient for Airport

We needed a 5.15am call which the hotel staff provided but the mosque next door started at 5am with the call to prayer. Ear plugs recommended

Nice hotel close to the airport

The hotel was a nice place to stop over whilst transiting through Dar es salaam. Staff are very friendly and it was good to have an transfer to the airport from the hotel.

Excellent all round

Great place to stay when flying out of Dar Es Sallaam. Even offers airport pickup and drop off. Staff are first rate and cannot do wnough for you. Rooms are clean and modern, terrace and outside area offer a chance to relax. Food was good and reasonably priced.

Poor sleep with electricity break ups

Do not stay there unless you want to be blackmailed into paying for the airport shuttle which is supposed to be free. Nobody would inform you that the shuttle is not free. In fact, when making a reservation it would be obvious that the shuttle is free. However, as soon as you get to the airport, you would be demanded for money and various excuses would be given. If you have luggage in the trunk, you better have cash available.. Apart from that, get ready that electricity would keep breaking up and a local generator would cause enormous amount of noise (if aircraft noise was not enough). And air conditioning was barely functioning so the room would get hot.

So much to say here. Not a bad place tbh but a few things really need to be worked on; hot water in my room just trickles, toilet did not flush or refill completely after each flush, had to ask for towels, etc The airport transfer is really not free. Four guests were going to the airport; 2 were put in the van but my partner and I were put in a random driver’s car who demanded an exorbitant payment on dropping us off at the airport saying he had no business with the lodge.
