Fabulous apartment

The apartment is in an ideal location for a city centre stay and having designated parking made it so convenient. Apartment was very well furnished and laid out making for a very comfortable stay. Views over the castle lovely, will be even better when castle work complete. Will definitely be back.

The apartment was spacious and clean. Good to have toilet supply and towels. Having a folding bed if additional people is staying. Recommend for families.

Great view

The property was in a great location, 2 minutes walk away from the centre. Kitchen had everything we needed. The bedroom and living room had a lovely view of the castle and over the river. The one thing that caught us out was the bed felt a little small. But fine for a couple for a few days

Clean and modern with great communication

Apartment no 2 was fab and the whole set up is run so well, and the communication was great. Cleanliness was average, there was dust in places and big lumps of fluff under the couch and we found a random sock in the washing machine! It didn't bother us but may have others.

Impressed from the minute we walked in the front door. The apartments are ideally situated, literally 5 minute (max) walk to town centre. No:5 was extremely spacious, comfortable & clean and furnished to a very high standard with a large balcony overlooking the Castle. Loved the roll top bath, great for relaxing. Will definitely be looking to return.

Very good location and very spacious and bright rooms. We enjoyed cooking the suppers and we had a good 2-night sleep. Not entirely clean and cleaners picked up the towels we left on the floor and placed them back to the sink. This was very odd! We rang the emergency number and new towels arrived in 30 minutes.

The views surrounding the property are truly outstanding. We stayed in apartment 5 which hosts a large balcony overlooking the castle. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and provided extra coffee and sugar when requested. The apartment was very spacious and had everything you’d need for a short stay, including a washing machine and dishwasher. Free parking is available on site too. We experienced some problems with parking when the apartment block was full as the car parking only allows space for 7/8 cars. We resorted to parking near the entrance/exit barrier but in doing so we blocked the sensor which meant the barrier stayed open all night. The only other small negative we had was with the cleanliness. Although the apartment appears clean it could do with a real deep clean. There was grime/dirt on the paintwork above the door handles, which was especially noticeable on the lounge door. The kitchen drawers were also home to crumbs and other small pieces of dirt. Having said that, we loved our stay here and would definitely recommend it to other travellers.

Grand apartment stay with my young family

I booked the grand apartment on the ground floor. We often book self-catering as we have two young kids so we have stayed in dozens of places so have high expectations. Well, this place did not disappoint at all! We were warmly welcomed ( and happily this is our experience of all the people we met in Inverness) and the apartment was very spacious, very clean and beautifully presented. It had all the amenities you would expect including a washing machine and dishwasher ( useful for grubby young kids) with toiletries and beautiful soft white towels in the bathrooms. The view of the castle and surrounding area is stunning and the proximity to the city centre and River Ness is less than a 10 min walk. It was also very quiet and the walls were thick enough to not be worried about neighbours. I can’t recommend these apartments highly enough, I’m already planning my visit back to this beautiful part of the world and will definitely base myself from the Arconnel apartments again. Book this place, you won’t be disappointed!
