Great place to stay

Nice hotel, perfect location. Staff nice and helpful. Clean apartment. Pool area nice and quiet. Would definitely stay here again. We had a problem with one of the AC units in our room, which was leaking, it was inspected immediately and we were given a decent fan as a replacement until it was repaired the following day.

Room was lovely with lots of space. Very modern and clean. Great area as walking distance to Bora Bora. Staff were great and very helpful. Bad points was air con settings weren’t great so didn’t really cool room down. Lighting in room was modern but quiet dull so could only get ready in bathroom. An easy 9/10.

Great Location

Good hotel in the heart of the action with shops nearby. Rooms are newly refurbished and are clean and comfortable. Aircon is very good and has a small kitchen should you wish to prepare any food. Little extras like fresh bottled water would be a great addition. If your looking for a reasonable hotel at a reasonable price then you should definitely consider this hotel.

Good value for money

Nice renovated apartments in central of Playa D’en Bossa. Stayed with 2 friends and our apartment accommodated all 3 of us with enough space including a living room area with a sofa bed and a bedroom with 2 beds. Nice bar area downstairs. The only down side was the smell of sewage which was quite prominent outside the hotel and it lingered in the bathroom when you flushed with toilet. The smell wasn’t noticeable during the first few hours of our stay but became stronger throughout. I’m not sure if this is the faults of the hotel or just Ibiza itself but it lets the hotel down considerably which is a shame. The hotel could also do with lifts as you have to take your suitcase to your room yourself via stairs with none of the staff members willing to help. Aside from that I would recommend these apartments.

Good hotel at a relatively budget price. The rooms have been refurbed to a good standard with a contemporary style with new kitchenette and bathroom. You can still identify the old room behind the newly painted walls but overall the rooms and hotel feel very updated. Nice touches such as LED lighting, dark decoration, modern fixtures and materials finish the rooms off nicely giving a luxury boutique feel at a budget price. The hotel is in an excellent location if you want central Playa d'en Bossa, very close to the nightlife and the airport. The hotel is also quiet giving the opportunity to retreat for some good rest between the partying of Ibiza. I would recommend the hotel to young groups & couples and also families alike with a confined rear pool and card accessed front entrance. Only down sides was that for my 4 day stay my air con unit was not working properly, which meant the room wouldn't cool properly, very annoying in 27 degree heat. I did report it to reception and they said they would send someone to look at it the next day but it seems no one visited as the air con remained useless for my full stay. I had to resort in opening the front and back doors of the apartment to try and cool the apartment down. On top of this i also noticed two quite large cockroaches scurrying around in the entrance hall but if anyone knows Ibiza, these critters seem to be common place. All in all i would definitely return to the hotel again for another stay.

A great place to stay - would definitely go back

We thoroughly had a great time at Mogambo. Everything was brand new. The kitchen was fully equipped even with corkscrew and washing up liquid. It didn't have an oven so pizza never got cooked. The area around the pool sunny and spacious. The restaurant food and the cocktails delicious. The location was a mere 2 minute walk from the beach, halfway between Bora Bora and Playa den Bossa. This was just perfect for us.

Overall the hotel was great. Good location, friendly staff, nice quiet pools. Only criticism was the facilities for late check out, our flight was late evening so we had to check out of our room by 11 which meant a day in the sunshine so we would need shower facilities before our flight, they offered us showers in the communal toilets which were dimly lit and only 2 available to a number of people to use, so you felt rushed. It would've been better for them to allow customers a room to clean and change in rather than the communal showers.
