Good place to stay for a family in Puerto Iguazú.

It was a quiet location, but walking distance to a lot of places. It was nice having a kitchen and it was great for our family because there were 3 bedrooms.

Comfortable and convenient

This is an apartment, not a hotel. Location couldn’t be better, just off a Main Street, very walkable. Host met me to check in and was incredibly helpful. Apartment is a little run down but perfectly comfortable. I would stay here again.

A great place to stay

The apartment is in very good condition, equipped with everything we need, clean and comfortable. The property manager is very helpful and gave us a lot of useful local information. Wifi is good too. We had a great stay there!

Great apartment and host

Apartment was very well equipped and perfect for a 2 day trip to see the falls. Juan, the host, was excellent - gave us a really good overview at check in and was attentive throughout our stay. He also gave us late check out at no extra cost. Location is 5 min walk from bus station.

Juan was the perfect host. We were late in arrival but he was there waiting and althoth it was past midnight he spent considerable time in helping us with an agenda of suggestions of what to do and see. He even carried local currency which he was able to exchange for us. Brillaint Stay

The property is more of an apartment than a hotel, so no hotel amenities. The room (living room and bedroom) was clean, the manager (or owner) Juan was nice and very helpful. I think it's a decent value for the price, but be aware that there's no hot water in the kitchen or bathroom (just the shower). It's on a business street with stores below.

This comfortable apartment is an excellent value. The bedroom appeared to have been recently renovated and had a very comfortable king bed. Air conditioning in the bedroom allowed for restful sleeps even with 37C days during our stay. We didn’t use the televisions but there were two, in the living room and bedroom. The kitchen was well equipped although our stay was too short to do our own cooking other than coffee in the morning. The bathroom was fine although is not up to the same standard as the rest of the apartment. Check-in and check-out were easy. We were met at arrival by Juan Pablo who was a wonderful host that took time to advise us about the apartment, town, attractions and transportation. He helped us with an itinerary and stored our bags on our departure day so we could explore.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Marin Apartments! The apartment was stylish, comfortable and clean and near lively bars and restaurants. The neighborhood was a little worn, but we don't require fancy surroundings. The BEST thing about the Marin Apartments was the communication and assistance we received from Juan Pablo, the manager. Prior to the stay, he gave us information about getting to the apartment from the airport, gave pricing and even booked a private car for us. Very helpful. A few days before we arrived, I had lost my cell phone which was how I would contact him upon arrival. He was able to work with my emergency communication plans even though it was extra work for him. Because of this, check in was a breeze. Juan Pablo spent extra time going over a map that showed us everywhere we might want to go during our stay, the bus stop, the grocery store, restaurants, etc. Then he explained the locks and made sure we knew how to get in and out. Honestly, he just couldn't have been nicer, and we felt really comfortable in our new space for the next couple of nights. We would not hesitate to book the Marin Apartments again if we were going to be in Puerto Iguazu!

Great Location, Great Value!

We had a great stay at Marin Apartments. We stayed 3 nights so that we could see Iguazu Falls from both sides. The apartment was in a great location with an easy walk to the bus station, restaurants and bars. The best part of this trip was Nicholas, the manager on call. He was very responsive and gave really good advice on how to get the Falls, restaurants to try, navigating the city... He let us get into the apartment a few hours early, saving us from walking around town with suitcases in very hot weather. There is no elevator and this apartment in on the 2nd floor, which is the third story, so it does require walking up 3 flights of stairs. The bedrooms and living area are a good size and the kitchen is huge and fairly well equipped. Since we were there in the heat of the summer (temps in the high 90's!) the kitchen door had to be kept close as the air conditioner couldn't keep up. One problem we had was that the living room furniture was very low to the ground and quite difficult for us 60+ year-olds to get off of. There was a dining room table in the living area that we used a lot, instead. The master bed was on the firm side so just be aware if you prefer a softer mattress. All in all, it was a great place and a great value for our stay to see Iguazu Falls and if we ever come back, this is where we will stay.
