Shame about the weather

The hotel is very nice but to call it a Lakeview hotel is slightly misleading. You need to be on an upper floor to see the lake and Nanjing suffers from mist and pollution.

Very close to lake

Great location, very close to lake and metro station. Not a 5 star standard, just a decent hotel. Room is very small. The staffs are not nice and hardly speak English.

Nice hotel

Really nice hotel with good rooms. Though they wouldnt let you in the rotating restaurant if you dont want to spend huge amounts of money to get a buffet breakfast/lunch/dinner. In my room you were able to hear people pulling and pushing tables and chairs upstairs very early in the morning, but I am guessing that is my bad luck being under some storage room or what. Other than that, is nice for the price you pay.

terrific hotel at very reasonable price

A very nice hotel - the best overall experience of our travels in China. Right by the metro to rail station and main sites, great view of lake from revolving restaurant (a short walk from hotel) and - unusually in my experience good food too (we only had breakfast but it was best (both Chinese and Western and including cook to order counters).

Good central location. Nice, clean and comfortable. However, you can feel that this is a Chinese standard (however a quite good) hotel and not a Western one. The gym was not much to get excited about and the swimming pool area had ash trays laid out so I got the impression they allowed smoking there - however, I'm not sure about this and no one smoked while I took a swim. They have some staff who can speak a bit of English, which is a plus. This is the only hotel in Nanjing that I have experience from so I can't really do a comparison. For the price I paid, I was quite happy with it and would recommend it to others, as long as they keep their expectations down a little.

Good location near xuanwu subway

Nice comfortable clean hotel near Xuanwu subway. But aircon broke down on third day and we had to shift to another room. Hotel counter staff do not appear familiar with basic tourist information and could be better equipped with local knowledge of tourist attractions, transport to other places outside Nanjing, where to locate certain landmarks etc...

ホテル自体は清潔感があり、部屋も非常に広く、エクササイズ用のプール、及び簡易なジムがあり、快適に過ごせます。 周辺には多くのレストランがあり、非常にリーズナブルではあるのですが、店員は中国語しか話せないため、店によっては注文するのが難しいかもしれません。 近くにきれいなショッピングモールもあり、モール内のレストランもそれほど高くなく、かつ非常に店内もきれいでお勧めです。

Great hotel in great location

It's the best hotel I've booked in my one-month holiday, quick check in and out. The staffs are very helpful and friendly, the hotel is opposite the beautiful Xuanwu lake which is one of the popular tourist destination, the metro line is also next to the hotel which lead to many other tourists spots. Hotel room is spacious and clean, great all you can eat breakfast and dinner on the 20th floor, overall, it's been a great experience.

Everything was ok if on check out they wouldnt clame for 5min that room hasn't been paid yet. I knew it was as it was stated on reservation and I chked that it was charged on my credit card already. Only after telling them for 5th time they went back and checked and found out it was already paid. No apology, nothing. They would easily double charge me.

Very nice hotel in a good location

Top quality hotel for a fair price

Excellent hotel for it's price. Staff is incredibly service minded and friendly. Could notice smoke a few times in the hallways but is otherwise very clean. Hotel is located next to the metro station and has a busstop near as well.

Real thing is better than the picture

Paying extra for the lake view room is definitely worth it. Staying during full moon is an added bonus. Hotel staff are very helpful. Online booking is much more affordable than OTC cash price for rooms.

玄武湖近くのクラシックなシティホテル

最近できたばかりというわけではなく、歴史のあるホテルだと聞いています。このホテルへの宿泊は2度目になります。1回目は先方が予約してくれたシティビューで湖の見えない部屋。その時の印象がよかったので、今回は自費でレイクビューの部屋に宿泊しました。玄武湖まで若干距離がありますが、湖が見えてそれなりに雰囲気はよかったです。 夕食はホテルの中国料理レストランで取りました。淮揚料理がメニューにあり、大層美味でした。「淮揚」とは江蘇省の淮安（建国後の中国で名宰相と言われた周恩来の故郷）と揚州を指し、料理はあっさりとしていながらコクがありました。豆腐とハムを千切りにして煮込んだ料理（「平橋豆腐」？）は、包丁さばきは繊細で、絶品でした。ただ、閉店が9時なので、高速鉄道で南京南駅に7時40分についたので、ギリギリにかけこんだという感じでした。 ホテルのすぐ横には地下鉄があり、市内を移動するには便利です。また、地下鉄の駅から歩いて１、2分のところに湖南路面という通りがあり、道の両側には、いかにもおいしそうな江南小吃の店が多くありました。 残念ながら、6時半から明孝陵に向けて出発したので、ホテルで朝食を食べることはできませんでした。
