Amazing property and super friendly and efficient staff ^_^ kronan right across the road and a bonus round the corner , lovely cafe near by too and great transport links , if you dont mind a little walk its not too far from all the main sights ^_^ views are amazing too! Would highly recommend ^_^

Great location outside of the hustle and bustle of the city centre but also only a short drive into Reykjavic. Self check in work very well with easy to follow instructions. Appartment was clean with all necessary amenities. A good selection of local shops inc a great coffee shop and supermarket.

Lovely and warm apartment ,well equipped which allowed us to cook (eating out pricey) Bess comfortable . Excellent communication - replied fo all Emails very promptly . Didn’t use the bus , but car parking good . Grocery store and subway deli opposite / next door . Check in times could have been more flexible . Overall , great stay !

Brilliant room. Fabulous views over the harbour a city. Spacious and clean. Lift and stairs option. Safe and easy access Into the building. Lots of restaurants options cheap eats inc subway. 24h supermarket. Bus stations 5 min walk. Fire alarm went off and nobody came to turn it off for 4hours so that was a problem but we had left for the day an returned wasn’t an issue for me specifically

No thrills but absolutely did the job

Iceland Comfort Apartments is exactly what I thought it would be for the price I paid. 10 minutes from the centre of Reykjavik by car (I would 100% recommend renting a car) with free parking at front or back. Communal areas and corridors are spotless. Apartment itself quite basic though clean enough and adequately presented. Apartment we had was spacious, warm and looked north giving a good view towards the city. Bathroom a bit dated and as highlighted by others, taking a shower is a bit of an experience on two fronts - getting hot water and stopping water getting out and flooding the bathroom! Building was very quiet at night and no problems at all getting a decent sleep, though was woken early by some strange noises coming from the kitchen sink which I was advised is down to an issue with the pipes, and can’t be fixed. For us there were way more positives than negatives and, if travelling on a budget and having access to a car, then absolute stay here. If looking for something more luxurious and closer to the centre I’d look elsewhere. I would also add that this is a contactless rent and communication by email was excellent. No issues with key codes or gaining access and entry and leaving processes were seamless.

Simple but good optoin

A simple apartment with all you need to for an overnight stay. Small kitchen that allows you to cook simple meals. A good option at a good price

Clean, good sized property. Exactly what we wanted and what we were expecting. Great shops, restaurants and points of interest all nearby/next door. Free parking outside. The only thing we did find difficult was the heat. Summer in Iceland so to be expected but it was an uncomfortable heat in the apartment compared to anywhere else as we were on the 3rd floor, windows open but there were only 2 small high up ones. Especially when you needed to shut the blinds and curtains to block the light at night time there was just no air. Provision of fans would have been appreciated but we didn't know where to ask.

Everything at the place was fine - check in went smoothly - they email you the entrance codes and locker codes. There are amenities close by - grocery store and a (halal) shawarma place across the road! The only issue was that the tap water smelled strongly of sulfur and hence made the experience unpleasant. I usually would not make an issue of this, however, other places we stayed at in Iceland did not have this issue.

I stopped in a basic apartment, the apartment itself wasnt to bad. The water had a really bad smell which being heavly pregant made it difficult for me to have a shower. The shower was clean but very rusty. No tea bags but there was coffee. On the bed sheets there was drops of dried blood, only one or two drops on the duve. Beds were confy enough. Couldnt control the temp in the room

The property was very well kept and ideally located, close to the highway and only 10mins drive to Reykjavík. We had an early start on our first day and didnt fancy carrying our luggage around, hence requested for an early check in. The staff were very helpful and emailed us as soon as the room was cleaned and ready for use. There’s conveniently a supermarket store and petrol bunk right opposite making it very convenient for all purchases.
