Everything from the staff to the building itself, the food, the location and the atmosphere. The staff should take pride in the apartments as they were a shinning example of great hospitality and the property was even more beautiful than the photos do it justice. I rarely return to a property once having stayed as I enjoy new places and people however I would return here absolutely

A very different hotel in a good way

The hotel was great and the staff were amazing. They got the balance right between being very helpful and friendly and professional. The hotel also got the balance of quirky style and comfort spot on. It’s refreshing to find a hotel that is not bland and generic.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed!

Everything about our stay at Raw Culture Arts & Lofts was simply superb. The staff was amazing and they were incredibly helpful, housekeeping was spot-on and the room was immaculate. We were greeted with a complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates in the room which was a great touch. Our room on the 3rd floor was vast, furnished with carefully curated Danish Design furniture, high-end toiletries, and fabulous bedding. From the room to the lounge and reception area we were surprised with a meticulously curated collection of art, furniture, books, lighting, and even vintage bikes! It is not just a high-end hotel, it is an art gallery you can stay in and feel immersed in the experience which for us was a really unique element to our stay. Location-wise, you are at the heart of Barrio Alto, which has great restaurants and bars in close proximity. It is very quiet during the day, and even if the cobbled streets are busy at night, the rooms have a double set of windows, each one with acoustic double glazing and sound-deadening thick fabric curtains; so basically we could sleep perfectly without being disturbed as the soundproofing of the room is top-notch. Breakfast was great too, and on our last day we had it delivered to our room, so we enjoyed it on the balcony overlooking the old streets of the neighborhood. Every single element of this hotel works seamlessly to create a truly unique and wonderful guest experience, which is why it is my new favorite place to stay.

Champions League Final.

I’ve stayed in 100’s of hotels, both for business trips and leisure. This hotel is outrageously good. It was a privilege to stay here, not only did I extend my stay I was sad to leave. Best hotel I’ve ever stayed in, without question. Huge thanks to front of office staff Barbara and Margarida, and all of the team. Okura Prestige in Bangkok is now in second position. I’ll be back soon.

This is a fantastic hotel, with lovely and very helpful staff. Always ready to help. We came with our twin baby girls, and they made our stay super comfortable. All the staff are amazing, with a special thanks to the chef who makes delicious breakfast. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Trendy loft like accommodations with a modern art setting/decor. All rooms are very large and the hotel is in ideal location for local attractions and nightlife, but can be noisy at night for all rooms facing west. The only small negative is there are nowhere to put your toiletries in the bathroom and no facial tissues provided.

Will book again!

Fantastic hotel with only 12 rooms, but the quality is Very good. Big studio apartments in a building that have been renovated from top to bottom. Will definitely book again when in Lisbon.

Amazing place in the heart of Lisbon

This was such a cool place to stay in an ideal location within walking distance to many bars, restaurants and attractions. Plus the room was absolutely huge because it is basically a studio apartment so lovely to have so much space compared to ordinary hotels. Would thoroughly recommend!

Sleek modern industrial style apartment-hotel

This apartment-hotel is really stylishly finished with a very strong industrial look - lots of polished concrete, dark wood and leather. The rooms are really massive, and the full kitchen is great to have as well. Triple glazed windows mean that the rooms are quiet despite the area, though worth requesting one on the quiet side if you are a light sleeper. I did find the pillows quite uncomfortable however, but I have a lot of sleep issues so this might just be me. Staff generally helpful and friendly. Good base if you want somewhere more than just a room.

The staff at Raw Culture are amazingly helpful and attentive to the needs of their guests. We can't thank them enough for their care and hospitality. Rooms are very spacious and modern, very comfortable beds, excellent breakfast. Design/decor of hotel is very eclectic and stands out compared to cookie-cutter chain hotels. Neighbourhood is very unique and central to all areas of the old city, with great connections to public transit, etc. We would definitely go back to Lisbon and would definitely stay at Raw Culture again.

The hotel is really nice and well located. However if you get there by car, make sure to let the hotel know in advance. The hotel is on a restricted area so you can’t get there by car unless they provide you with a code. You have to park in a public parking 2 blocks away.
