Brilliant location, very central and can walk to loads of places. Staff were lovely & very helpful. The apartment was lovely, loads of room. Really good idea how they have arranged breakfast so you have it in your room whenever you want, yes, you have to make it yourself, but you have everything you need & all the facilities, not a problem at all for us. Lovely city, Will definitely be recommending Dare Hotel & Lisbon. We went to a Fado evening which the hotel recommended. You got a meal & the music by amazing singers included,you will definitely need to book as very popular, ask at reception, it's a must do!!

Booked the Dare Lisbon hotel for a six day break in the city and very impressed. The hotel is right in the heart of the city with trams, funiculars, metro and train station in very close proximity. The room is more like an apartment then a hotel room which gives your more space as well as a kitchen area. The bed is very comfy and plenty of clothes storage. The bathroom is open view so make sure you don’t have any privacy issues with whoever you’re sharing with. The breakfast is included and fresh breads and pastries are delivered to your room daily with butter, jams, yogurts and fruits replenished in the room daily. The team are very welcoming and able to advise on trips and place to visit as well as restaurants to try. If you want to be at the heart of the city then this is the place for you. Very impressed so would have no hesitation in booking again.

We loved our stay at this great little hotel. Centrally located close to the metro with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel staff were extremely helpful with advice on trips out and restaurants. It was nice to chill out with a complementary glass of wine and chat to other guests after a day out. The do it yourself breakfast was great with fresh bread and pastries every day delivered to the room.

A fantastic stay

From our first welcome to the last farewell we were treated to the Dare Lisbon House unique brand of hospitality. The check in experience was superb and informative regarding local attractions (and a complimentary glass of wine), the room was luxurious incorporating a well stocked kitchen diner area and the location is absolutely perfect to explore all that Lisbon has to offer. Genuinely could not recommend this hotel enough, and the next time we are in Lisbon we will be very very disappointed if there is no availability as this would undoubtably be our number one choice.

We had a superior loft and the apartment was amazing - so much space, kitchen eating area, lounge, mezzanine bedroom with bath and huge bathroom with great shower. The location is perfect right in the centre of the old town with a short walk to the main squares, eateries , attractions and front. The staff were all really helpful and knowledgable and were always available. The breakfast is a great idea.Lots of provisions in the fridge including eggs, butter, milk and oranges for fresh orange juice and the fresh bread and pastries are left at the door every morning by 8am so you can be totally flexible. We have become huge fans of pumpkin jam. Cannot recommend enough and will definitely return. Thank you guys for a memorable stay

Great short stay

Right from the first step into Dare the team made us feel like we had been best friends forever. They were so accommodating and gave us the best tips for what to do, see and where to go for some specific shopping that we needed to do. Everything was comfortable in the room and the breakfast setup simply great for us.

We had high expectations and it didn’t disappoint! From first arrival the staff were warm, welcoming and helpful. Rooms were perfect, great facilities and the fresh bakery goods every morning were a treat. Ideal location with a 5 min walk down to the Rio Tejo waterfront and 2 min walk to the Metro. My wife & myself made a return visit recently as we stayed here in 2019. Still the same excellent staff, service, rooms etc. Exactly as we had previously. A small dining/kitchen area off from the bedroom makes breakfast an interesting & easy option in the morning. Bakery items are hung on your room door around 08.00 so all you do is grab them in. Various breakfast provisions/fruit/ yogurt/ coffee etc are replenished during the day when the rooms are made up. Super informal common lounge area with a member of staff on hand to make free coffees or pour complimentry wine. A really nice touch. As this is an older building you do get movement noise from rooms above, so if you are a light sleeper try a top floor room. Centrally located too. Keep doing a good job at The Dare House

Well thought out, spacious and central aparthotel

Super clean, well equipped apartment with fresh bread and pastry delivered daily to your door. They give you everything you need for breakfast in bed (or at the table) - e.g. oranges and a juicer, cereal, yogurt, fruit, eggs - and was nice being able to have breakfast at our leisure. The apartment and building have some beautiful details. The only thing missing was a bedside table on one side and some more suitably located towel hooks in the bathroom - otherwise it was perfect! The hotel is only 100m from a metro station and in the lowest part of Lisbon (the flat bit), near plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. However, the better restaurants (like Sacramento) are up the hill to the West, but it's still only a 10min walk and some of the best views are up there (at the top of the elevator). Thank you to Tania and the team for being great hosts and booking us a table last minute for a few restaurants. We'd love to come back!

Elegant apartment with all modern facilities

Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Relaxed informal check-in with a glass of wine to welcome us while offering advice on how to get the best from our visit to Lisbon. Great location, central to everything in old Lisbon and close to the metro which is very easy to use!
