Trailhead Lodge offers a convenient ski shuttle service; those who skip the slopes can take advantage of ski storage and complimentary wireless Internet access. Each condo has 2 bedrooms and provides free WiFi and free wired Internet. Guests can enjoy a fireplace, and other amenities include a washer/dryer, a furnished patio and a dining area.
Trailhead Lodge offers 81 accommodations with fireplaces and washers/dryers. Rooms open to furnished patios. This individually decorated and furnished accommodation has separate dining areas. The weather was 90 degrees when we arrived and the AC wasn't working. Our room was 83 degrees. They fixed it late that evening, then when we arrived back at our room the following afternoon, it wasn't working again. Since I paid extra to get a room with AC, I asked for a partial refund and was told "we don't do that". I then asked for a manager and was told one wasn't available, but that they would have one call me. Needless to say, I never got a call or any money back. There are lots of good options in Steamboat, but this is not one of them.

We stayed at trailhead lodge and we had no internet for 2 days so not watching TV late at night when we wanted to settle in was not an option! The garage was blocked multiple times when trying to come back due to the roofers, then had to drive around thru the grass or wait for them to move the crane. No one at front desk past 5 pm for any questions or concerns. Not what i thought i was paying this kinda price for thats for sure.

Nice property. We were on the 4th floor and the room above had small children running and jumping off furniture the entire stay. Front desk clerk verified that there was no one checking in the next day, but Vacasa denied a late check out. Will avoid Vacasa properties in the future.

DO NOT book through Vacasa which Expedia books through. They charge for everything and will not accommodate simple requests. It was our anniversary and they could have cared less to help us out with a last minute late checkout. We now learned you can reserve directly with Trailhead and they are extremely flexible. The condo itself was nice and has great hotubs.

The property was beautiful, perfect location to the base of the mountain. The best part is the gondola is a very short few steps from the condo. Our room was clean and well equipped, the pool area and jacuzzi were beautiful and perfect after a long day snowboarding. Our only issue was the lack of support and customer service at the front desk. Upon arrival we were told the room wasn’t ready which is fine, we arrived at 2pm when check in is at 4pm so we placed our luggage behind the front desk. When we came back I asked the front desk if they could bring our bags up, on Expedia it says bell service is available but the girls at the front desk told me this was not a service they provide so I asked for a cart to which they just pointed and said over there. We stayed 4 nights so at one point I called down to ask for house keeping to which they also said they don’t offer that service. Also when going to the pool I asked the front desk for 3 towels and the girl just pointed at the cabinets behind the front desk telling me to get them myself when she was right there. Funny part is they don’t offer any sort of room refreshing during the entire stay but have a list of what you as a customer need to do to check out, strip the beds, wash them, load and start dish washer, take the trash to the chute, etc. All in all the location was amazing but for us the l lack of service and kindness we experienced from the front desk really turned us off.
