Relaxing time on Bribie Island

We spent 3 nights at the On The Bay Apartments as we were visiting relatives who stayed nearby. Our apartment was beautifully appointed with everything and more that we needed. Having been away from home for nearly 3 weeks, the washer and dryer were particularly useful. We had a view of the bay from our apartment and it was great to start each day with breakfast on our balcony enjoying that view, even if it was a bit windy at times! We were given plenty of advice on the local area by Marianne when we checked in and her friendly manner was much appreciated. The apartment was a 20 minute stroll from a number of restaurants and given the weather and the surroundings, it was no hardship to take that stroll. There was also a supermarket within 5 minutes which was great for stocking up for breakfast. The whole atmosphere of Bribie Island was very relaxed and we would love to come back some day and if so, we would be more than happy to stay at On The Bay.

Wonderfully positioned overlooking Pumicestone Pas

Fully equipped apartment with a high quality of appliances and equipment. Well laid out accommodation, clean and with fantastic views. Close to all beaches and shopping centres and to all local attractions. We have been in Australia for two months now and this is amongst the best properties that we have stayed in! The security was excellent including access to the different parts of the property and the gated, covered parking garage which is both spacious ( unusual in our experience ) and well lit - an added bonus.

On the Bay is a great complex close to most things at Bongaree. Great sized room and easy parking undercover on the property. Having a lift really helped especially during check-in and check-out. View was good but limited. Nice sized pool. Few maintenance issues, no tissues provided. A very nice stay overall.

Great apartment! Very big and nice. I was there with my wife and daughter. It was great to have two nice size bathrooms. The view off the balcony was nice too. I liked being able to walk down the street to pick up coffee in the morning. Not a lot of kitchen staples beyond salt and pepper. You'll need to pick up cooking oil or spray and stuff like that if you plan to cook there.
