Check in process is very restrictive and confusing. If your plane is late you need to find somewhere else to stay. Restaurant staff where you collect the key weren’t very helpful. Needed cash for the tax and to use their expensive ATM to get it. Waiter was rude. Hot and no a/c.

The apartment was located in a great spot, right up by Castelo de São Jorge meaning the streets below were super buzzy during the day. Buskers would commonly perform below on the corner of street so you could hear live music when up in the apartment. Super easy check-in and lovely people :)

Lovely apartment

Fantastic apartment, very comfy bed, nice living room, kitchen and bathroom. In a great central location for all the sights. Bus stop just across the road was great for getting up the steep hill after a day's sightseeing. Only negative for us was the speaker of the restaurant was right underneath our balcony/windows and the music played till way after midnight on several days during our stay. We don't usually mind a bit of noise, but this was a bit too much for us and kept us awake. Other apartments in the building would have been a better option for us. Staff and communication were great.

Great lisbon location

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location next to the castle is fantastic! Our room was on the top floor accessible only by stairs which was hard work after a day walking round the hills of Lisbon. The apartment was clean and well presented with everything we needed. There is no air con or soundproofing as stated but we didn’t find this a problem. There wasn’t much noise at night. It probably would get very warm at night in the height of summer. We would book to stay here if we visited the city again

New place finding its feet

We could tell it's a newly done place and the intentions are right, but wasn't an amazing stay. The positives were that it has recently been refurbished so the apartment itself is really good quality - it feels brand new. The location is also amazing -right by the castle and with lots of local cafes nearby. Downsides were checkin and the bathroom. The check-in process was confusing, which left us stood outside for half an hour until the manager came out of a local shop to give us our keys. This would be fine, but wasn't communicated in advance. The bathroom had an overpowering mould smell, to the extent that we'd do everything we could not to go in there, and kept the fan pointed at the bathroom door to try and get rid of it. I think this place could be great in the future, so am happy to be corrected by future reviews.

Would recommend for short stays

Apartment is really nice and it feels new. We stayed for 8 nights and travel with a baby, so storage was a bit limited, but nothing we couldn’t handle. As it is an apartment, it is not cleaned regularly. Also, no means of ventilation other than the windows, in case you travel during warm periods. We requested a heater as the apartment got quite cold (mid-November) and that helped a lot. Kitchen has everything you might need for simple meals at home, although fridge is small. Location is perfect, as you are right by the Castelo, and within easy reach of multiple public transport options.

Super little flat, nice and clean and really close to all the action with a fabulous little restaurant and bar next door. Andre matters and gave us all the information we needed and helped in every aspect of our stay what a hero !!

Wir kannten die Umgebung und die Unterkunft war wie beschrieben. Online Check in vorab. Schlüssel gab es nebenan. Parkplätze im Parkhaus in der Nähe. Bus ist zwar laut aber ansonsten wusste man worauf man sich einlässt. Wir mochten es.

Location: very good, in the Alfama district within walking distance of many cafes, restaurants, souvenir shops, and mini mercados. Also within a few minutes walk from many of the popular viewpoints (miradouros). But you can tell this whole area has been turned from locals' residences to tourist hotels and rentals, sadly. But the area felt very safe. Room: we had the bedroom with kitchen. Rooms were clean and beds were firm but comfy enough. Kitchen was nice and stocked with silverware, cups and plates, cutlery and pans. Had working mini espresso machine, hot water boiler, and microwave. Would have been nice if they had some paper towels. Bathroom: very small and though it looked fancy and nice, this brought us a lot of annoyance. It has a glass screen that didn't extend the whole way so water splashed everywhere. And the tile used in the shower was slippery when wet. I almost fell. Shower had hot water but it quickly ran out and got cold, so you had to wait a while for the water to heat up again. Noise: this was the other big problem for us. They warned us there was no sound proofing but we didn't realize how bad it would be. You could hear all the people walking and talking right outside, the buses and cars and trash trucks going by. Definitely bring ear plugs. Communication: ok/poor. They communicated with us via WhatsApp and when they did it they were courteous but they did not get back to us quickly initially. Overall, our stay was just ok. We couldn't wait to leave.

Gute Lage direkt am „Castle“. Ein toller Aussichtspunkt mit bestem Meerblick ist in 300 Metern Entfernung. Hoch auf dem Berg gelegen, in relativer Nähe, ebenfalls ca.300 Meter entfernt, ist die Fußgängerzone über 2 Aufzüge leicht erreichbar. Ebenfalls ein großer Supermarkt in 5 Minuten

Prior to the check in I send numerous messages to the person who is supposed to be available..No response at all. Tried calling..also nothing. I arrived without any idea if I can check in there. There is no reception..the keys are given by the nearby store, but cant imagine what you do when they are closed. The place is great, but it is SUPER NOISY. There is a restaurant below the building which closes late. The apartments are ok.. but quite basic..

What an amazing location in Alfama, steps from the Castello, but easy to walk to the major sites along the river. Mafalda the back door manager gave us perfect directions from the airport. The apartment was perfe t for the two of us. We stayed three nights, but 2 more would have been better . We woukd definitely stay again

The staff was friendly, and check-in was quick and easy. The location is excellent, but unfortunately, the property lacks air conditioning, making it uncomfortable, especially at night. Noise levels were high, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The towels definitely need replacing, and there was an unpleasant sewage smell every time we used the water in the bathroom. While there’s a coffee machine in the unit, no coffee capsules were provided, which would have been a nice touch for at least the first day. Additionally, be aware that rental cars cannot access the property directly, so you’ll need to park elsewhere and carry your luggage. Overall, I would not recommend staying here.
