Got a small but extremely clean and comfortable renovated room which we loved! The communal kitchen was clean and well equipped. A bit outside of the hustle of Airlie Beach so a car is required. Staff was friendly and helpful, perfect communication. Would recommend to everyone!

Uncomfortable rusty old chairs stacked together as there was no room for them at the table at the end of the bed. Lifted up the pillow on the bed and it was smothered in ants. Grabbed the other pillow and it had blood stains on the pillow case. Insect spray was provided so sprayed ants but the second night woke with more ants. Surroundings outside very pretty amongst the trees and table and chairs outside provided a relaxing space to eat that inside didn’t provide.

not a retreat and not a resort low budget dirty and uninviting Stayed 10 nights and from the first day was not happy with the accommodation, old outdated and dirty. There was no free wireless internet (no internet at all), a dirty greasy BBQ and nothing that resembled a camp kitchen. Pool area was not very inviting and the so called gardens were unkept and messy with palm fronds, leave litter and obstacles everywhere. For the 10 days i was there i was not offered or had access to fresh towels, bedding, toilet paper, or linen. room cleaning or service was not at all available. The beds were old uncomfortable and small and resembled a bed you would find in a prison. The Kitchenette was old dirty rusty and unhygienic. The bathroom and shower mouldy and dirty. I do not recommend this accommodation to my worst enemy and I think the accommodation at the boarding kennels were my dog stayed while I was on holiday is far better than this.

We were luckily in one of the newer cabins, so the accommodation itself was fresh and upgraded compared to others around the site. Not a particularly thorough job when it came to the cleaning - attention to detail in certain areas were lacking. We had to swap towels a few times are they were given to us with stains on them. The communal areas need revamping and improving as they feel dirty and run-down. Breakfast was poor - really limited options and when things ran out they weren't replaced (despite reporting these to reception). So much more could be done with the breakfast hall! Location was perfect for what we needed and a really short drive away from the main town of Airlie and other local walks. Free onsite parking was also super convenient. An average stay overall, but did the job for a few nights.
