The location is fabulous but I wouldn't describe the accommodation as luxurious. The huge balcony was a definite winner. However, the apartment is located above very popular restaurants that open all day from lunchtime so can be quite noisy. The air-conditioning unit was strangely noisy when it was switched off. We stayed for 7 nights and the last two nights were disturbed by very loud banging (it was a little windy on those nights and it sounded like huge metal doors banging). The bed was very comfortable but very limited cooking facilities. Perhaps it would have been ok for a couple of nights. We loved the view over the Marina and spotted the dolphins a few times. Outdoor furniture looked a little tired.

The apartment in general was great. I didn’t like the communication though. I had to travel for work so I needed to have stable WIFI. no one was around when it didn’t work. They said Expedia declined a refund, however from talking with Expedia it was the property, they never responded again, which makes me as a guest feel like they aren’t sorry for the issue

A brilliant location with safe parking close to all amenities and overlooking Dolphin Quay. We had a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment which was well appointed. It had a lovely large terrace balcony with a small bbq and furniture. We would happily recommend but these are a few things just to mention. The apartments are above the bars and restaurants on the Quay - we liked the sound of the buzzy atmosphere but it may not suit everyone - ask for the top floor if you can. The furniture and furnishings are basic and a bit tired in places and the one air conditioning unit had to serve all the rooms.

Ideal location and spotlessly clean

The apartment was ideal looking out over Dolphin Quay. Although it is situated above some bars and restaurant they were all closed at 10pm and quiet. Spotlessly clean and everything you could want for a short stay. Although a mix up with communication/booking the out of hours staff were very helpful.

A place to return to.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment, perfect for 2 couples, great to each have an ensuite and added pleasure to watch, from the balcony, what appeared to be the resident dolphin in the marina. It is so nice when staff are so happy and helpful would highly reccommend all to stay at the Dolphin Quay Apartments.

The perfect location and my room was outstanding , very comfortable bed and living facilities , I also had my own remote gated private parking below the apartment which was a bonus. my room had fantastic views over the marina and family beach , plenty dolphins to watch

Location!

Great location, nice apartment albeit not sound proofed - can hear the neighbours chatting/coughing etc. Clean, tidy and comfy. We booked a one bed apartment and got placed into a two bed which was fine with us. They lock the doors of the other bedroom/bathroom, which again is fine with us with just being the two of us but they take it a stage further and remove cushions from seats on the balcony so you can't use it all! I guess they could have taken it further and removed the crockery too but they didn't. You get the distinct impression that people have abused this in the past so a case of the minority spoiling it for the majority. The lady on reception was miserable and unfriendly, not even looking away from her computer screen to address a question. Quite rude and maybe needs to change jobs. Overall the apartment was good for us for 3 nights but couldn't stay any longer than that so we moved elsewhere which is a shame as the location is excellent.

These are advertised as 'luxury apartments'. They are not. They are decent apartments in a great location, with very handy parking. The rooms appeared to be furnished differently to each other, so it might be a bit of a lucky dip. Ours had only one air conditioner in the living area, making both bedrooms extremely hot for sleeping even with it turned down low and the doors open. While it was a two bedroom apartment, only a small couch that seats two and an armless chair were available for any television watching. The balcony next to us was double the size and had a full size table on it, while ours had four chairs lined up along it - directly receiving the hot air from the air-conditioning unit! Two stovetop elements, microwave, no oven, no pool. Slow wi-fi. Nice to see dolphins in the canal out from. None of the restaurants below are particularly exciting so just have a good look around to see which area suits you.

Clean modern comfortable apartments

Have nothing negative to say except the wifi didn't work for the first few hours and then when it did it was only on one device. Also the coffee wasn't replenished after the first night. BUT everything else was perfect. Beautiful apartment and the view was fabulous. We had a marina view. The staff are very friendly and although we arrived a couple of hours early, the apartment was ready so we were able to get in straight away. The apartment had everything you'd need including a washing machine, iron and ironing board, dishwasher. The location was great, just by the small beach and over the bridge from shops and market. There is a restaurant/bar downstairs which had great food and atmosphere. I'd recommend the porterhouse steak.

When we arrived we were given the keys and that's all, we were given no information whatsoever about the apartment and its surroundings, we had to ask what each key given was for, where we could park the car, where the apartment was etc. And when we checked out we were not asked anything at all about our stay.

First class apartment with excellent views

Excellent stay in one of the best located apartments in the block. #56 on top floor. Highly recommended with fantastic views of the harbour and for the Dolphins swimming around the quay.
