Would be great for caravans who have their own bathroom as a backup but the set up for bungalows is not good at all. There’s one toilet per gender for 14 cabins that sleep 2-3 people each. We cancelled our stay scheduled for return to Cairns because we couldn’t stand how hard it was to use facilities and how overcrowded they were. It was also not that clean. We couldn’t go back - no way. It is cheap to be sure, so we weren’t expecting anything amazing, but we’ve stayed at several similar accommodation in this price range in Oz with shared bathrooms and none have been this shockingly under equipped for the number of customers or this messy. I’ve stayed in many hostels that were better. perhaps the facilities for those with caravans are better, not sure as I didn’t use them.

Lovely cosy wooden hut.

The Hut was very clean and contained all the basic facilities such as toaster, microwave, fridge and cutlery. We stayed in the deluxe suite. As you would expect, noise travels through wood quite easily, so hearing other people/birds was the norm, but as you would expect on a camp site. The area out front of the Hut was lovely and open, with benches to sit and eat on, alongside BBQ cooking facilities. Would definitely recommend this as a lovely place to stay. Oh, and it had air conditioning which was brilliant!

Great little holiday park , stayed in one of the cabins, there's only a few of those and they have their own communal facilities with a key entrance that you don't share with the rest of the park. Nice and clean, v helpful at reception, satellite TV in the cabin as well as 500mb free WiFi daily. Bit of a walk to town but when your on hols what's the rush ? 100% def would return !!!!!!

The units are a great price for 1 night and they are close to the airport, but they are small and older. Anenties need a good bleach... And maybe some cultery in the community kitchen, most people do not have a knife and fork on them.

We had to share bathrooms, microwave, cooking and cleaning stations with other campers, but it was very clean and I had no issues. The service was fantastic and the staff were friendly. I would recommend to bring ear plugs cause the birds and bats live in the surrounding trees and can be loud, but its a beautiful natural sound.

We had the lodging, it was ok. - the Wifi, it was so slow, a normal website loaded a few minutes - I did not like the bedding, it was too soft - During the night there were two false fire alarms that cost me sleep

The woman working the front desk was SO friendly! There was a small shop in the reception area for guests to purchase snacks and goods. Our room was very clean and the air conditioning worked great! The coffee and tea station in the room was very nice as well. The only thing I have to say is that there are some glass slits at the front of the room for guests to open and close like windows. It was very easy to hear other guests and people walking by because of that. But our neighbors were relatively quiet, so absolutely no complaints!! Just know, the bungalows don’t have bathrooms. You’ll be using a shared shower and toilet with other guests (separated by gender).
