A compact apartment that still managed to have everything I needed. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable too. The location was great for me, away from the centre but with a tram stop right outside which gets you back in to the heart if everything within 15 minutes.

Great location & spacious room

We stayed at Docklands for 6 nights in a 1 bed studio apartment overlooking the marina. The room was very spacious, a little basic but it still had all the facilities we needed The checkin process was really straightforward. We arrived after office hours so needed to collect a key & find our apartment, which was fine The location is great. About 15min walk to Southbank where there are loads of good restaurants & bars. You can use the free tram within the city but we never felt the need to & walked everywhere instead. We did a few day trips during our stay that is also recommend: ocean road, Philip island & Yarra Valley. Overall a great trip in a great city. The only recommendation for changes would be adding a safe to the room

Docklands

Stayed for a week. Good access to tram stop meant we could explore Melbourne with little difficulty. Kitchen was well stocked & washing machine was nice extra.

from the outside when we arrived i was dubuis but once inside a very secure key controlled apartment block the room space was amazing even a washer dryer which on our 3rd week was a big plus x everything u need in one apartment the fact the bedroom is seperated from the main area is even better x

Good, but could be better with a bit of thought.

Had a fantastic experience on the Tram Restaurant. Well worth it and highly recommended. Melbourne is a buzzing vibrant place, with so many shops restaurants and coffee shops that its hard to know where to turn to. We were there for the Greek festival, which added to the enjoyment. The apartment was very minimilistic and could have made it feel more homely with a little imagination. It was, however, perfectly serviceable for our four night stay.

A very nice serviced apartment.

We had a very pleasant stay, the apartments are on the tram lines which are free within the CBD, which makes it easy to get around the city, you don't need a car. The tram network is very extensive and convenient. The apartments location next to the docklands development is close to to some very nice and reasonably priced restaurants.

Overall a good experience. Except water leaking from bathroom into bedroom floor with lots of mould and an unpleasant smell. Apartment next door had a dog that barked like crazy when they were not there at night. Drove me mad. Microwave did not work but was replaced. The view of Docklands is fantastic and the view of New Year’s Eve fireworks was fantastic

Small but so convenient!

Our 3rd stay at the accommodation. Apartment is a little small, but just for the wife and myself it was fine. Has kitchen and we were able to make our own breakfast and occasional dinner. Location is perfect. Walking distance to supermarkets, restaurants and shops. Trams and transport right outside the front door. Having a reception makes check in so much easier. Small, but suited our needs.

Excellent location, easy to navigate. However terrible strong odour throughout room at night. Was a hot humid and wet night. Upon returning to our room on Saturday night a strong distinct stench which resembled hydroponic set up was throughout the room, entering via vents / unsure where or how. We needed to sleep with doors wide open and air conditioner on high to eliminate odour.
