The property is in a great location less than 5 minutes walk to Darling Harbour. The sheets and bed were of a high quality but the rooms were not. The first room we were put in (108) had a terrible smell and was very worn. We asked to be moved and were given a room on the same floor (108) which was just as bad. We said it was totally unacceptable as I was then feeling nauseous and had a headache but we were told they were fully booked. The receptionist tried ringing their other hotels but also booked so we had to stay one night. She said they would move us next day which they did. 16th floor was much better but room still very tired. I was told we’d get compensation but all I was given was a little pack of chocolate biscuits. I couldn’t speak to management and never heard from them. Will never stay there again!

Terrible!

Property should be rated a 2 star! Room unclean, bathroom very old with cracked tiles and toilet. Shower literally dribbled out. Was supposed to stay for 7 nights but through hotels.com we managed to get a refund on 6 nights and paid for one and we rebooked elsewhere! Only saving grace was the staff were very understanding as I think they know how bad it is!

Good location - decent apartment but overall disappointing stay Having observed many negative as well as positive feedbacks for this property we decided to book because of its location and affordability - check in was easy and we were provided with a warm welcome and all necessary information for our stay We arrived early evening after a lengthy delay at the airport because of poor weather in and around Sydney and dropped our bags and went out for a meal locally immediately . When we returned around 2230 and got ready for bed it was only then that we noticed the carpet in our room was soaking wet not only in the middle of the room but also by the bed . We we’re dealt with professionally and advised here was an alternative less modern room but this was also affected by the recent bad weather and whilst the carpet was less wet there was a smell from the balcony and it may affect our comfort , they suggested that we report this in the morning to management who would offer some kind of compensation for all the troubles - having expected a partial reimbursement the only offer apart from another bottle of wine was for a discounted return . We have had various correspondence with the management and informed them that this is undoubtedly a general offer not specific to our issues and as we live in England this offer would in fact cost us more money to return which in the end has fallen on deaf ears Disappointed

It was so bad, we checked out early. First of all, we booked a premium queen room. They gave us a free upgrade which sounds great and all, but when we opened the door, we were appalled. The room was small and despite being on the 15th floor, you could still hear all the noise from the street. The oven had been ripped out leaving us with fewer facilities than promised and a lot of the fixtures were loose. We checked out the next day and found other accommodation.

Friendly and good value in Sydney near Darling Har

I’ve stayed here before as the hotel is well positioned and offers apartments as well as basic rooms. This time on my own I opted for a basic room. Perfectly adequate for a 3 night stay. Staff are excellent and as my room want teach they swiftly swapped me to another and offered a welcome gift. One lift was under maintenance do not having a stair option was the only downside as I was only on floor 1

It was a central property and the city centre was easily accessible (walking). I attended for the Sydney Marathon and this property for very close to the EXPO and both the start and finish line. Staff is helpful and cordial. What I didn’t like was that the room was facing directly onto an office building as not sure how much privacy one can have but the management assured me that no one can see in unless the lights are on. The extension of the check out was slightly confusing but also very stressful as different people were saying different things. At the end out of the 2 hours extra I paid I only managed to use 15 minutes after completing the run to get into my room to shower and re-pack, as getting back took a lot longer due to crowds. I think that 10am check out is slightly bad especially as checking in is not until 3pm. Saying this it was a lovely stay here and the staff were as helpful as possible.

Stayed for one night. Arrived early and was able to leave bags. They called me later to advise I could check in earlier. I was given an upgraded room which was great. The room itself was a great size and had a lot of amenities such as a full kitchen and a separate sitting area from the bedroom. Bed was comfortable. One comment being British. There was teabags to make tea but no milk so couldn’t use this facility. The property does feel a little worn and like it could do with a bit of a refresh in terms of decor. And the fridge although worked absolutely fine looked a little tired. However all in all had a good stay.
