don’t stay here

Diabolical. Stayed here for business. 1st day was not able to check in and was moved to another Hotel (nextdoor) in fact a 15 minute car journey in the opposite direction to where I was working. No communication followed. Stayed 2 nights in other hotel before checking on 2nd night what was happening. Was told a mini bus would collect me at 6:30 am the next day. I said this was not satisfactory and asked the hotel to tell the Hilton this. It was midnight when I returned from work I had to leave at 7:30 the next day i did not want to be messing around with luggage. No one called back until I was woke up by a call to say minibus would be 5 minutes??? I checked out in my own time and took my bags to work checking in to the Hilton that evening. Overall hotel was more tired than I was expecting considering price. I found I’d been given a room right opposite the mosque next door which had a serious p.a system that woke me up every night of my remaining stay at 5:30 am (I wore ear plugs as I travel a lot in Middle East) but this level of noise was above and beyond. On the last day I came back to find I had no towels, I chased this up with housekeeping but gave up and went out without taking a shower came back to find 2 towels but no face towel or floor towel. On last night from 2/30 am it seemed like banging and drilling from renovations was going on in the room above. again I was unable to sleep. Room was also freezing Throughout stay as a/c did not give out any warmth.

The building was good so the view was nice but otherwise everything else was not .the staff was not helpful only one person for everything so delay in checking.the bathroom was not comfortable ,week water ,old towels .the breakfast was not the level of 5star hotel or Hilton level

A relaxing break at Sharjah Hilton

Very comfortable bed and large room. Excellent location as the corniche is literally across the road. We could walk to the nearest cinema in only 5 minutes and there are an amazing number of reasonably priced restaurants serving great food nearby. We spent a lot of time at the hotel pool. There are actually two pools at this hotel and the one we used was frequented by adults. The other pool was mostly used by families with young children. It was really relaxing. There is free underground parking also so my car was very safe. Overall we had a wonderful, relaxing visit and I would definitely stay there again. The only thing that spoiled the trip to Sharjah was a parking ticket which I got at the Sharjah Souk. Being a visitor to the city I had no idea that the souk had meters . But I know now!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Sharjah on the banks of the lovely Al Majaz lagoon. We loved the view of the lagoon from our room and at breakfast from the dining room as well. Our room was large, clean, comfortable and luxurious too. The staff were kind, friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Tired and not usual Dubai standards

My room was old and dated. Water stains all over the ceilings, burn marks in numerous places on the carpet (in lounge and in dining room). The ‘Spa’ is most definitely not a spa. Very poor environment (looking from the massage bed out to the empty pool with workmen walking around and sanding the tiles). I’m hoping the windows were not see through! Room service food lovely and staff lovely. Check in could have been more approachable and friendly! Executive lounge was meant to be for over 12 years but families were coming in with little babies shouting and running around. I left the hotel early and booked elsewhere.

Good family hotel but definitely not 5*

The hotel had a grand feeling as you entered, check in was smooth, very courteous and polite staff at reception. We had reserved the Deluxe lagoon suite, it was very spacious, decor is very dated and extremely tired. Bathroom didn't have a walk in shower or a shower head that can be taken down, so it was extremely difficult to give the kids shower/wash etc. The worst experience we had was with the concierge, unhelpful and lazy! I had read a review prior to travelling where a mother with 2 children was struggling and they had not come out to help - we had experienced exactly the same thing. All in all we were happy, as it was good value for money and the location was great. We didn't arrive with expectations so I guess we weren't disappointed as much.

Enjoyable buisness trip

Although it was buisness trip but I enjoyed it very much I would go back again. The hotel was excellent, staff were great and friendly, the breakfadt & dinner food in the resturant was good. The surrounding area provides with what might you need: resturants, supermarkets, pharmacy. The view from my room was perfect and breathtaking specially in the early morning. Strongly recommend the hotel
