The furniture and walls are rather run down. They need to replace it. The kitchen tap was loose as was one of the light fixtures. Towels - clean but worn and rather dingy.

It is a good apartment hotel for its price.

The location is perfect, close to many cafes, restaurants, amenities and only 10 min to a major subway station. The price is reasonable and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Good apart hotel.

Well placed, well appointed apart Hôtel. Staff friendly and accommodation secure. Supermarket round the corner and as it’s near the University, various bars close by. All in all, a comfortable place to stay for our 5 days in Santiago.

WE absolutely loved our stay, friendly efficient personnel, from the front desk to housekeeping. A wonderful time ,well located . We will happily come back again, and would strongly recommend. Bravo on a good job.

Cleaning of the could have been much better, I had to tell the front deal twice that the bathroom was not cleaned properly. Just by lookin at the windows we could see they were not cleaned for months. Too bad because the location was great.

Clean place good location

Good location and the room was clean. In our apartment, AC is only in the living room and one of the bedrooms, the room with two single beds did not have AC so it was really hot.

The staff at the Apart Hotel Viva Providencia were very helpful and friendly. Check in was easy and they provided clear instructions for things we needed to know. The location is great, lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The area is quiet at night, we were able to get a great nights sleep. The only suggestions are that the walls in the apartments need to be repainted and the bathtub gets really slippery when you take a shower, we were worried about falling while we stepped out of the shower.

Excellent neighborhood, great apartment

Outstanding neighborhood. Quiet, but close to lots of cafes, restaurants, bars, etc. The building and apartment were very clean. The apartment could use a fresh coat of paint. However, it was relatively modern and the kitchen had everything that you need for a lengthier stay. Front desk was so friendly! They were great!

I didn't stay long, just over 36 hours so this won't tell the full story. I have stayed in rentals in Chile and Santiago now for almost 2 years of time so I know my way around. Staff was very friendly and the area has everything in walking distance. It's a very safe neighborhood. The studio was very clean but missing a few small items like a sponge to wash dishes. There's no oven. The shower was very small for a large man like me but it had great pressure so not a big deal. There were 2 random dogs in nearby yards that would start barking both nights at around 8 pm. Not constant but close enough to bother me, even with loud white noise on. It's a shame there are so many terrible dog owners. I can't blame the rental but it exists nevertheless. There's also a bright light shining in from the garage driveway that will shine in your face on the side of the bed closest to it if I rolled over to that side of the bed, so not ideal. The window blinds do not block it entirely. This is a problem specific to my unit surely. So there are a few small issues but nothing crazy. Make up your own mind.

Quiet convenience

This place was convenient to many cafes and restaurants and in a quiet area. Although breakfast was not made on the premises they did provide a daily bag filled with coffee and tea packets, granola bars, nuts and crackers, etc. Staff was very courteous and helpful. The only downside was in the kitchen the microwave was on a high shelf. Made it hard for short people (like us) to reach it.

O quarto é bem espaçoso , a limpeza no início foi boa mas deixou a desejar no final das diárias, a água quente é o que mais pegou no inverno de Santiago, 10 minutos de água quente e depois ficamos só com água gelada e precisa esperar de 1-2h para ter água quente de novo

Fiquei insatisfeita porque tive que pegar 2 quartos ( casal+ 2 filhos), não tinha para 4, até tudo ok, pedi para q fossem compartilhados ou perto, quando chegamos tinha só 2 quartos em andares diferentes e longe. Mas a recepcionista do dia seguinte chamada Natália foi muito amável, mas não tivemos escolha, tivemos q ficar 7 diárias separados.... Mas o local é bom, perto de mercados metro...
