I get nostalgic about the Oasis Park Hotel as I first stayed there about 30 years ago. Some years ago new management took over and it seems to be "Target motivated" (I have seen flip charts in the office which confirm this). I feel that the hotel has lost a little of it's charm from what I remember years ago, but it is still well worth the money...

Avoid staying at this hotel if you can

You think you get a good deal on hotels.com however the photos of the rooms are far from reality. Rooms are worn out, cleanliness issues, cockroaches in 2 out of the 3 rooms I have stayed during 3 nights (moved 2 times during my stay), maintenance issues. When I brought up the problems, the management didn’t even bother to make time and listen or do something about my experience except from moving me from one room with issues to another room with issues... The disappointment is even greater when one is familiar with the hotel industry and experienced how terrible a stay, as a guest, can get. As I said in the title, do something good for yourself and your hotel experience and avoid staying at this hotel if you can. Far from 3*

Terrible

The staff don't listen. I had no bath/shower Mat left so I asked room service, reception 4 times. All said ok we will send. It never arrived!!! More of a problem is the rats in the ducting/void areas of the room. Every night you hear the running about as if they are in yr room. Again I report this on 6 occasions. "Ok sir we will get the maintenance to address the problem." Nothing got done about it.

Extremely friendly staff.

My stay great . Staff extremely friendly and helpful and hard working. Good location , quiet for Manila . Very busy noisy streets around though. Taxis easy to get and by the Skyway motorway you can get to the airport in 20mins!

I would stay again

The hot is a lovely place to stay..pool really nice to just relax in.and the food delicious, we only had breakfast & a samwich. .but both really good..p.s I would go back just for the ice cream...heaven...lol

slap bang in the heart of manila

once again I enjoyed my short time in Oasis hotel paco park. its nice when you return after 5 months since the last visit and the staff remember you. will always stay here for my stop overs in manila. close to everything. once again the hotels driver (July) was more than helpful with his advice on travelling around the Philippines. the best advice I can give is for you to use the hotels airport collection/ great and meet service when you book your stay. it will save you all the problems that can come when arriving and trying to find transport at the airport. look out for the special menu promotions. there is some very nice dishes to be had at a good price.

Disappointing Oasis Paco Hotel stay with Friends

Read the reviews prior to booking this Hotel with friends, but was disappointed once we arrived. First impressions was Hotel was extremely dated, could do with refurbishment, room was sizeable, but decor needed renewing, has a swimming pool , which admittedly was the selling point for the price we paid, but once we arrived there didn't feel confident enough to swim in it , staff were adequately polite,but seemed to be just going through the motions, for the money we paid , you're better off paying for the Tune Hotel, now rebranded Red Planet Hotel providing you don't mind not having a swimming pool or a smaller bedroom.

NICE and COMFY Hotel

iv stayed at Oasis for a total of 6 nights now and never had a single problem. the menu is very good but a little pricey and the hot water could have some more pressure but that doesn't bother me. the staff are nice and polite and their driver July is a great guy to ask about local attractions and any travel advice.

Great hotel great value for money the Internet is terrible always dropping out and very poor signal especially in the rooms! Have stayed here many times and can recommend for anyone to stay there if in business trip or with family its a real oasis in Manila

A pleasant and surprising stay.

I stayed at the Oasis Park Hotel several years ago. Then, it was an ill-kept rat infested and dilapidated hotel. This time, I was delighted with the facilities, staff and cleanliness; very much improved. My stay was most enjoyable and restful. The hotel is very well situated for all the city amenities, yet in a quiet, older part of Manila City. I am already planning another stay at Oasis Park Hotel soon.

Not the best

Room condition was poor as the hotel is old and not well maintained. My room had laminate flooring that had seen some flooding as it was uneven and swollen in areas . The ceiling had water stains and was very low. The bathroom had no window and in use the shower would flood the bathroom as the drainage didn't work properly. The staff however were nice, helpful and considerate. The hotel hasn't got a lift and the stairs are steep. The area is horrible and off the beaten track. Overall I cannot honestly recommend it.

very pleasant hotel

I highly recommend you use the hotel's airport shuttle service. my drivers name was July his advice and experience on manila is priceless .any transport needs you have talk to this guy first and he will help you out.. the other staff were really friendly and go out there way to help you. I had two nights in the standard rooms and two in the superior rooms and to be honest there is not much difference in them.they were clean, the beds were comfy with good TV and A/C.the food was very nice and a good menu offered although quite expensive for Asian prices but worth it. its just a short walk to Robinson mall which is huge and has everything you could want to buy from many European brands.not far from there is the mall of Asia, which im told is the largest in all of asia. the hotel is quiet but once you leave the street it stands on you will know you're in major City, so expect to see what naturally comes with this.street kids,beggers the usual inner city things. though I did not have any problems. I will stay here again in the future

It's ok if you're on a budget

The room could do with a bit of a clean and make over however it has something that most hotels in Manila do not and that is hot water. The restaurant is pretty good especially the pastries as they are freshly baked. If your on a budget this hotel is fine. Plus it has a pool
