I have been coming to Affordable Suites for several years now and it is a hidden gem, I always feel welcome here, the management team are awesome and every time I stay there I make a new friend. For me there is nowhere else that I would rather stay in Jacksonville, I was sold on the place years ago and each stay just gets better because of the people, they are top notch. Thank you Affordable Suites I'm looking forward to next time.

Heard doors slamming all night long people arguing fussing and then somebody from downstairs came upstairs to talk about me walking on the floor was making his popcorn come off the ceiling and all that noise I heard all through the night for the days I was there and you come in my room about me walking

I've stayed here several times over the years and it's always been enjoyable, each room is like a 1 bedroom apartment with it's own kitchenette which attracted me to the place at first. The manager and the employees are always nice and help when you have an issue, it may not be a 5 star hotel but to me it's a 5 star all the way, a diamond in the rough. I will keep coming back as long as they are there. Thank you Affordable Suites for another great stay.

It was very quiet and close to everything we needed,it was a large room an apartment like setting and clean,only problem was the bed was uncomfortable, the manager was very friendly as were some of the others we saw there.Id recommended it to people.

The main feature is the full kitchen and large space. It is a one-bedroom apartment. All appliances worked but have years of wear. There were enough plates and utensils for my stay. The manager was flexible with the length of my stay; he offered to extend my reservation but I later did not need the extra day.

This stay was a last minute decision due to traveling for medical reasons. I could not have been happier. The communication with the property manager (Mike) was awesome, and check in was seamless. The property was clean and the clearly written rules and regulations were reassuring. For the cost, it was beyond a good deal. Sure, it’s not the kind of place that has desks with USB ports- but the other amenities it has for the price you pay is amazing. 10/10 recommend for bang for the buck.

Know what your priorities are before booking. If you want a fancy hotel, this isn’t it. If you want a separate living/dining room and kitchenette over cleanliness, this is the place for you. Be careful not to leave food out. There was a bug that crawled out of the kitchen sink while I was washing dishes. Brooklyn has more bugs than this place did. If you need clean air vents, bring your own cleaner, as they aren’t dusted here. The metal towel racks in the kitchen also have rust in them. Again, this isn’t the Ritz. The refrigerator and freezer worked well for keeping my stuff cold.

Amazed. Not in a good way

While I was there I witnessed what appeared to be an apartment complex being ran and not a hotel. Multiple drug users and dealers and prostitutes. I had no other option but to stay as I had booked and spent the money on this room. Pulling up there was a pile of dirty furniture in the parking lot. And upon getting keys and going to my room I find it’s not what it was suppose to be online. The room was basically bare and didn’t have even an alarm clock. The couch was stained and yellow and wet to the feel assuming it was washed and didn’t dry in time. I ripped the bed apart and decided I’d deal with it as I didn’t see any bed bug signs. Overall it was horrible. And disappointing to say the least. My safety definitely was in question especially after witnessing something the last night that made me so uncomfortable I didn’t sleep before my check out time but an hour. I left my trash in the room as I didn’t feel safe going to the dumpster at 4am and being there was no front desk open left my keys on the table in the room.
