Very good located, short walk to train station and major city sights. Good for sleep and shower, do not expect much of a view, it is a large room bathroom / shower, only a tiny window to the back yard. For the price I consider it very adequate.

Hands down, the worst accommodation experience of my life. ONLY BOOK HERE IF YOU ARE DESPERATE AND HAVE NO OTHER CHOICE. This was a last-minute booking. Within five days, the host sent me 18 emails with contradicting check-in times. This excessive communication felt like harassment. The host required me to download an app for online check-in, which I did at the airport before my flight. Despite informing the host of a three-hour delay, I didn’t receive the access codes. Forced to pay for emergency accommodation, I received the codes at 8 am the next day. Expedia contacted the host for a refund of the first night's stay, which was refused despite their failure to provide the codes on time. The Expedia listing omits additional fees: 10 EUR for late check-in, 25 EUR cleaning fee, and 50 EUR late check-out fee. I refused to pay these undisclosed charges. The apartment seemed clean at first, but the shower was grimy, and I found a cockroach on my first night. On the second night, a leak from the bathroom ceiling occurred. I informed the host via WhatsApp. She knocked on my door the next day, and despite asking her to wait five minutes, she persisted and angrily forced her way in. The following day, the cleaning lady entered my room without permission to take a pillow while I was undressed. This was the second disturbance by staff. I would not book this apartment again due to: - Unfriendly, unprofessional host (Esme) - Poor communication - Dirty facilities - Cockroach infestation

They made it so difficult to stay there ,everything was extra ,when I read the other reviews I booked another room .25 to clean the room ,10 to book in late , forms to fill in , I thought the customer was king ! Terrible , really unhelpful

Sadly the apartments were all money money motivated... I have stayed in many apartments but never been charged for cleaning!!! They wanted to charge for moving in early or departing late ... during the 6 days I saw a cleaner once to be handed a black bin bag and a toilet roll ... not impressed at all

Pictures are very deceiving on size of apartment. Staff shouting through the door to get out 30 minutes before check out time and demanding payment for the taxes and final cleaning fee the morning after we arrived. Would not recommend.

Hi,. I really loved this apartment property, it was absolutely ideal for my stay. The room is like any hotel room, with TV, very warm good heating, lovely shower, but also came with a hob and microwave so you could cook if you wanted! Best of all the communication was perfect, with directions and door codes meaning you don't even need to check in, it was just perfect with zero hassle for my stay. I loved it.

Not worth the money

Will not stay here again due to the constant hassle of emails and wanting money for everything even disturbing you on your first day after a late arrival to collect the room tax .... room was ok ... basic however the tiny sink unit was broken and the bathroom sink cabinet drawers were unusable due to been broke ... room was clean .... would advise to spend your hard earned money at a different location

Good value base for exploring Budapest

We stayed on Hegedus Gyula utca, 16. Cosy little room (only slept there really - why would you stay in the room for long when you're in such a beautiful city?). Very good value. Clean. Quiet. Attentive, responsive, helpful staff (thanks Balasz!). Airport transfers well worth the money. Couple of ok cafes very nearby, nice walk along the river into town (20 minutes), also very convenient for underground/tram.

Absolutely Disgusting!

This place was vile. Had to pay a 3300HUF cleaning fee.... no one cleaned our room for the duration of our stay and it was filthy when we arrived. The shower was broken and leaked all over the floor and the plug was full of hair. The kitchenette was filthy. The plug sockets and light fittings were hanging off the wall and ceiling. There was a gaping hole in the wall around the radiator pipes. The staff were rude and unhelpful. Would definitely not recommend and we will not be returning.

Awful don't go here

Filthy apartment microwave had mold inside / covered in food. Bedding awful (pillow sack with lumps). Shower drains clogged, handheld shower. Tiny bedsit. Hot and stuffy, A/C not working. No one at reception throughout stay. One small locker for 2 people. Stay well away. Ended up staying in a different apartment that was amazing / same price.

Don't book this accommodation

We stayed in different kind of accommodation, but this was the worst experience ever. They don't pick up the phone. Our electronic key didn't work. Tried to phone them, but nobody answered. There was no soundproofing at all and we couldn't sleep until 2 am every night. We had to listen people accommodating, having party and people running around in the hallway.

Excellent location

The hotel was exactly what you expect for the cost.we were warmly welcomed upon arrival and the room while basic was clean and bigger than anticipated. We loved the location wjich was literally a stones throw from the parliament building and had great links to every place we needed to be. We would stay again and would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a place to lay your head rather than a luxurious hotel.

Great location, cheap, basic, clean apartment

This is an apartment rather than a hotel. From the price, you wouldn't expect luxury and great views, but you get a cheap, clean apartment with private shower room, microwave, portable hob and kitchen sink. It's great for sightseeing on a budget. This apartment's big advantage is its location - the beautiful Parliament building is at the end of the road and the river very close by. The bridges for access to Buda with the castle etc are also within reach. Everything is within walking distance, we used no other transport than our legs (except to and from the airport). We tried to see as much as possible and covered 35 miles in 2.5 days according to the Mapmywalk app! It's not accommodation you'd want to sit on the balcony with a glass of wine enjoying the view (other concrete flats) but as a place to dump your stuff and come back to sleep after a tiring day's exploring, it's just fine. I can't see the point of paying out massive amounts for luxury accommodation if you're never awake in it! One hiccup - no one there when we arrived to let us in and we were left standing on the pavement along with others trying to gain access. I gather the same organisation has several groups of apartments, so they are not staffed much. However we had taken the phone numbers supplied, rang the one who spoke English and the lady there texted a series of codes to us to get through the inner and outer doors and our apartment. Had we not taken mobiles or numbers, we might still be there now!

Budapest Trip- Good hotel

We stayed for three nights. The hotel was older but the room was clean and in good condition. The location was wonderful and close to the parliament building. We did not have any trouble getting to and from our hotel easily even during the day while we travelled.

Low quality service.

Room was fine but service was no good. Even I arrived there around 2:30pm. But the room was not cleaned, just a worker tried to cleanup the room. and I requested to her a hair dryer. She said, will bring at 9 in the morning. But she didn't come to my room for 2days. First day, I was waiting her till 10am. But nobody was the reception and not contact me for the hair dryer. totally low quality service.

Amazing location for a great price!

The room was clean and the staff friendly and helpful, with tips for the stay highlighted in a poster. Comfy bed and the shower was good. The location we were in was right next to the Parliament building! My only minor quibble was that some light from the corridor shone through the window into the room all night, but that wasn't really much of an issue!
