This is a hotel is suited to sight seers to the city.
The Bathroom was clean on the surface, but in the corners there was dust and black mould. The hotel has a well worn appearance and the sting in the tale was an additional €16:50 for over night parking charge which was omitted from the booking details which made it more expensive then Hotel Digonal plaza Zaragoza a far superior hotel. Will not book at el principe again
Perfectly situated for our plans. Quiet location (away from traffic noise). Very clean room and bathroom! (didn’t use other facilities). Very friendly staff, comfortable… Nothing *serious* to complain about really!
I rate it 4 stars, not 5, due to the things that could definitely be better; namely:
- Only 2x beers, Coca-Colas, juices and waters in the minibar. (More choice and quantities of drinks would benefit both, guests and the business, since items consumed are paid separately.)
- Interior design /deco are terribly old-fashioned.
- Opening our room’s windows revealed a rather loud (white) noise from the air-conditioning system outside, instead of any views. X)
(Not that any of the above prevented us from having a good night’s sleep though. :)
I made an error thinking I was booking a pet-friendly hotel, however, the receptionist, Totu (I think) was incredibly helpful, assisting me to book another hotel close by and saying that due to my misunderstanding that despite the rate being final that I would not be charged.
The lady could not have been more helpful. I will go back to El Principe simply because of her help, no dogs next time.

Hotel is very close to Plaza del Pilar and close to Roman museums, art galleries, market hall, churros cafes, nut shops, tobacconists, lottery vendors, tapas bars, restaurants, and the river. What more is there?
