Nice, but…..

This is a condo development, and I had a very nicely furnished and clean property. It was more like a second home than a holiday let. They do you tell you this, the property is in no way accessible, and I’d say is really a young persons location, with uneven paths and lots of steps, it’s eerily quiet. The indoor pool was fine, but very restricted hours, closes at 17.45. The hot tub was taped off so presumably not in use. I had two slight issues, the Internet in the unit I stayed in was near to useless, and the main TV didn’t function. Both reported, the Internet remained useless, the TV was not fixed properly. In the end I did the TV myself, but wasted 30 minutes which would have been 10 with reliable net access.

Great location - only a ten minute walk to the Plaza. The weather was very cold so it was useful to have a fully equipped kitchen and extremely efficient (if noisy) heating. A nice change from the usual hotel room.

A wonderful stay

It was a very wonderful stay in a two bedroom apartment with two bathroom, kitchen, lounge and real fire place. It gives a flexibility for the whole family because each room has an independent TV with cable programs. The kitchen-dinning room is very comfortable with all the facilities required. Parking space is close to apartment. The hotel also has a heated pool which we actively used after the day of meeting and sightseeing. One night we ordered wood and had a real fire for the night.. I appreciate all support from the staff who did fulfil all our requests. Thanks very much.

Peaceful resort close to downtown

The hotel location is close to downtown and in a quiet area at the same time. The apartment has a good size and is clean. The service team is very helpful when you need help.

Nice situation.

The first suite we were offered was not to our taste, it seemed rather old fashioned and dark. The staff however gave us a much nicer one, on which I have based my marks. The site is very pleasant and within walking distance of town. We loved Santa Fe, and all it has to offer. I think Marcy Suites was a very good choice.

Very uncomfortable bed, should have slept on the sofas! Room not serviced. Ants in the kitchen aand bathroom. Bathroom too small for most people, w.c. area was very cramped.

Excellent, comfy all mod cons

Extremely well equipped, lovely comfortable beds, great sunshine in the morning coming in the bedroom, just a short walk to downtown though it is up a hill. Reasonably easy walk though for anyone of moderate fitness, you will be breathing though.

The word Hotel is misleading

Fort Marcy is a pleasant spacious sprawl of about 150 apartments, of which about 60 are let out fully.The only communal facilities are like those you would expect to find in a large apartment block. Having said that, it is a great place to stay; spacious and comfortable. And the bonus is that there is plenty of car parking, and it is only a 5/10 minute stroll down to the central historic plaza.

Disappointing

Our stay at Fort Marcy was disappointing this year. We felt that while the location was convenient, the room / condo, was overpriced for the quality that was offered. The rooms and the bathrooms were small and outdated with furniture that felt more budget than boutique. We stayed at this property before in a two bedroom unit and it was nice, however this time we needed an additional bedroom and decided to select this three bedroom unit. Not all units are in the same conditions, some have been recently renovated and updated. This three bedroom unit was nothing like the other unit we stayed before. The pictures that we looked at when we booked our stay were not pictures of the actual unit, that was deceiving. Overall we were disappointed.

Cozy Condo Close to Everything

We enjoyed our short stay here. Our unit was well appointed and clean. We really loved all the artwork throughout the unit. It was amazingly convenient to both skiing as well as downtown Santa Fe. Highly recommend.
