The original property which we were given was in an extremely poor condition. I rang up and asked to be relocated, the lady was very abrupt, however we were moved into a much better property which is what we had initially expected. My overall experience was not very good to begin with, but it turned out well in the end. I must say that the original property which we were given is not in anyway shape or form fitting or worthy to be used as the furniture and condition of the property is appalling. I dread the thought of someone else being given that property as a holiday let.

The size of the property was very impressive

Before we set off on holiday we thought we would research the are we thought we were staying in. But when we got there to pick up our keys, we were told that our apartment was 10 miles in the opposite direction. The apartment block promised a gym so we thought our 18 year old son could go through his exercise regime on a daily basis, it certainly did not live up to the name gym it consisted of 2 treadmills and cross trainer certainly not what constitutes a gym. The swimming pools were adequate with enough seating and sun beds for their size. We had to call maintenance on a few occasions for ant invasions around the kitchen area especially in the dishwasher. The sofa's and chair were too high to be comfortable, the sofa bed was really quite hard to sit on. However the bedrooms were really comfortable if a little old fashioned, the shower/bathrooms were very well kept but for the ants . The washing machine and dryer were OK and it was really a godsend to have them. To sum up the space available was brilliant but the apartment was quite tired and in need of updating, if I was asked if I would stay there again I would say no.

Had no wifi went to see Tiffany at the office love this lady she was so helpful offered us a move but husband has trouble walking and as our villa was near the pool the grandsons wanted to stay we got wifi by the pool which was good to keep in touch with family at home Tiffany is a great asset to this company so happy nothing was to much trouble sending her a big thank you from the Breens xx

The apartment was lovely and spacious but was not the VILLA we booked ..... we were in a 3rd floor apartment with no elevator .... my husband is disabled so was not ideal but saying that we cannot fault any services

Great location but getting a bit run down now

We stayed in the same house 2 years ago and loved it so much we went again, but was disappointed this time round. The carpets were dirty and grotty, the beds made crinkly noises and need replacing. The locks on the internal doors didn't work either. The tennis court and spa were broken and couldn't be used. It's in a great location, but needs updating.

Great value for money

Just had 2 nights in a Magical Memories house before moving on. We stayed in a well appointed 4 bedroom house in Coral Cay in Kissimmee. Lots of space for our family of 5 to spread out after staying in hotel rooms. We tend to spend most of our waking hours out and about when in Orlando but this was a good base and excellent value for money.

Magical memories (NOT)

We booked a villa with a queen size bed , we were given a villa with a standard double. Magical memories tried to convince me that 4ft 6in is American queen size and refused to move us. After four days and a visit to the villa they acknowledged the bed was incorrect and moved us. We specifically ordered a queen size because I am tall, so I did not get any sleep for my first four days of my holidays , holidays are precious to me and this ruined mine. I've still not received an apology or explanation for my treatment . I look forward to that but suspect this feedback will be ignored . I look forward to hearing further. In the meantime do not use magical memories villas!

Nice pool

To start with, it was a villa we stayed in, not a hotal. We enjoy are stay in Florida,the. villa was very nice and close to the amenities. After a very hot day it was nice to spent the evening in the pool.

We stayed in a house at 4543 Creekside Blvd

The house we stayed in was excellent and above my expectations. The hpus had a pool and was very clean. Fully equipped house. The house at Crrekside Blvd was within 30 minutes drive of Disney and Universal. If you stay, see if you can see Fred, the alligator, in the lake behind.

Good value for money generally. Initally felt customer service needed attention, but rest of the stay helped us overlook that. Tricky getting hold of maintenance man or someone on the phone. Slightly strange charges like $5 to collect a letter!

Brilliant villa for a brilliant holiday.

Was a wee bit worried with some of the reviews I read but we loved our villa. It was clean with plenty of space, including living area and pool. There were afew minor niggles (phone was faulty, wifi issues etc) but these were quickly resolved by the very friendly and helpful staff. Location was only 30 minutes from Disney and Universal. Highly recommended and would definitely use again.

convenient for theme parks, but look elsewhere

We booked this apartment over 14 months ago as it was a 'too good to be true'flash sale. We clearly booked for september 2014, however as we had not turned up by September 2013, magical memories had cancelled the reservation, therefore when we arrived in September 2014, they tried to deny all knowledge of our stay. After much deliberation, they admitted it was their fault, and sorted out another apartment for us. The unit was pretty much as we expected, for the price, however, the cutlery/crockery was filthy, with no hairdryer or iron and ironing board provided. Would NOT recommend, this rental agency to anyone, and they have the audacity to charge you $90 cleaning fee...........for what ????? Look elsewhere , there are hundreds of properties to rent in Orlando

First Class - Highly recommend

We arrived at Magical Memories after hours expecting to collect our check-in instructions from the lock-box but the office was still open so we went in to collect them. The guy who served us was very polite and friendly and was not at all bothered that us walking in had extended his work day. He was chatty and helpful and gave us directions to the condo. We already knew about the $65 cleaning fee as this was on our itinerary but he made us aware anyway. On arriving at the condo, it was a comfortable temp & very clean. We were located just off the 192 which was perfect for us and just 5 mins from the I4. We only had one problem which I noticed the next morning in that the two plastic chairs on the porch were broken. We reported it to MM on our way out and by the time we had returned the lawn chairs had been replaced. We had a fantastic holiday and a fabulous place to relax after a hard day at the parks. Have used Magical Memories before and will defo use again - Well done Magical Memories A*

The villa was clean and had all the basic items. Though things were dated. The disappointing items were as follows 1. Bedrooms 2 & 3 had double beds, it would have been better if one of the rooms had twin beds 2. No TV's in beds 2 & 3 3. No Electric kettle had to use the oven to heat the kettle - as i said dated 4. A few broken tiles around the pool that were sharp

Dissapointing holiday

We immediately asked for an upgrade (but nothing was available) as we thought we were getting a Villa with it's own pool, however this was not the case as they are sold as Houses with pools, and Villas are the same as condominiums ie: an apartment downstairs and another above SO BE WARNED.The Decor was very tired and dated , alot of chipped surfaces ie - laminate worktops, drawers in kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms etc. Had to share the kitchen and family bathroom with cockroaches, only small ones so got rid of them myself and reported it to reception who said they would get someone in to spray the place but I declined saying to do it after we had checked out

Handy location for Disney and Universal parks

Check in staff were not very 'Orlando' and we're not very prompt, courteous or helpful. I had ordered tickets for Universal, to be delivered to the hotel address as shown when booking, (at an additional cost for delivery of $8). When we checked in we asked about our tickets and we're told they had not been delivered - without even looking to see! We were also told that the villa (Laguna Villas) was a further 1.5miles along the road and not really given very clear directions to find the accommodation. This meant that my Universal tickets would not be delivered to my accommodation but to the check in address and we would have to collect them from there. Very annoying. No map or ideas about where to go or how to get to the parks etc at either the check in desk or in the villa (including not being in the rather tatty 'welcome folder'). Our villa was right next to the very busy Pointciana Boulevard (with a fire station next door) which concerned me as I was on vacation with children. I called the number I was given to contact guest services but no-one answered. I stayed on hold for almost 10 minutes and gave up - three times. In the end I had to put the kids in the car and drive back to the desk area to ask for a map and recommendations for somewhere to eat. We were tired after a very long journey and were only given unclear verbal instructions to get to the main Disney Street. I asked for these to be written down and was just given a pen and the back of an envelope!!

Magical Memories Villas

Be warned, Magical Memories isn't a geographical location, they are agents, and you will have another drive out to where the accommodation is (quite far out). Also don't be fooled by the "Villas" in the title, ours was an apartment. We were asked to pay up front for maid service, but no maid turned up during our stay, when we asked later in our stay we were told that this was to clean up after we left, misleading in our view. Our apartment was ok, quite spacious and well appointed, but our eldest son found to his cost that his bed was full of bed bugs, but what we really didn't like was the complete lack of any facilities within walking distance such as a shop, restaurant or bar. Also the shared pool was tiny, not really a pool for swimming, only fit for a paddle.

Disappointing accommodation

Be aware that whilst the dictionary defination of a villa is it is a free-standing private home that is made available for rent to vacation" whilst a "condo is basically an apartment " is not accepted by this company as it considers that such definations are interchangable so rent a Villa and end up in an apartment. Our Condo was not fully checked out prior to occupying as the main bedroom TV only showed a Spanish language programme as it had not been fully tuned. The second bedroom television never worked and despite promises was not changed during our two weeks. The main lounge television was a old cathode ray tube with a 16-9 picture showing blank above and below the picture. There was no plug in the kitchen sink. The lounge wall clock did not work as all it needed was a new battery but who ever attempted to do this wrecked the clock so a new one was provided, The main problem was that in the road/parking area there was the normal large storm water gully which the cover was lose creating a racked when ever a vehicle went over it. This woke us up late at night/early morning but never according to a resident rectified for quite a number of years. On telephoning the office about complaints it was Russian roulette if the phone call would be answered so for four straight days visited their office to try to resolve the problems but eventually gave up.

Spacious villa within a quiet area

The villa was ground floor 3 bedroom with washing machine and dryer. There was no wifi at the villa, however we shared upstairs wifi, but we found this was only on when the rooms were occupied by other holiday makers. The area was quiet to the west of highway192, this was about a 10-15min drive to Disney kingdom and about 20-25mins to universal parks. I thought we would have a specific pool to the villa, however it was a shared pool for all the residents that stayed in the secured housing area. There was a security gate to gain entrance into the estate, which gave you adequate security. We shopped at Publix that was nearby which was easy to get to and good value. I found the staff at the main office helpful. We were aware of the additional charge for cleaning which was about $90. But I did notice that this came as a surprise to other people, so make sure you check, Expedia did make it clear for us. There. Are shops Target, TJ Maxx near by, and Publx supermarket either way on the192. If you want to go for a night out, then you will need to drive, otherwise you are walking on the main highway which is busy. We ate out at Charleys steak house off international drive, pricey but great service and food, highly recommend that.
