Golf resort outside Estepona

We enjoyed our stay at Ona Valle Romano. There are a number of self catering apartments with reception and 2 restaurants. We were very happy with our apartment which had a good balcony overlooking the golf course. We did not have any meals but breakfast and evening meals are provided. The WiFi worked well, although there was only one channel on the TV in English. Good hot water. There is free parking outside the accommodation, only problem is later in the evening it is difficult to find a spot.

Lovely OneValle Romano Resort Overlooking Estepona

It was a lovely spacious room, we booked last minute for one night in view of the condition of our accommodation in Manilva. We booked at 7pm + arriving at 8pm was not a problem. The restaurant was very good along with helpful staff. If we had to comment on anything it was that the swimming pool was not open by 11am on 5th October when we checked-out.

Left disappointed with a lack of detail

The actual accomodation is generous but it really disappoints in the kitchen which is fully equipped with hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and large fridge freezer, toaster. BUT no plug for the sink, no kettle, no washing up brush, no washing up liquid, no dishwasher tablets. The dishwasher has no salt or water softener. With very little spend Ona would really improve the facility.

Stay at Ona hotels

This was our second time staying here, had a better experience the first time. Paid extra for sea views, couldn’t see the sea, overgrown trees and shrubs may have been obstructing the view. Stayed for 6 nights, on day two, I went to reception to ask for fresh towels, was told the cleaners would come the next day. Cleaning services did not show up at all through our holiday. Thankfully there was a washing machine, so I washed our towels throughout our stay.

Family weekend away

Generally this hotel was good value. We stayed in a penthouse which was spacious, clean and had everything you may need. Restaurants and bars were decent but pools need extra loungers, chairs and to be open at 10 rather than 1130.

Pleasant affordable stay

We had a pleasant stay at Ona Valle Romana, certainly for such a good price the quality of the apartment is good. We had a 2 bedroom apartment, it was meant to be sea facing but it was facing the road which was a disappointment. The apartment was relatively clean, probably could do with a more thorough level of cleaning but was well stocked with complimentary cleaning supplies, tea coffee. Only 1 of 3 pools open at the time. Recommend hiring a car although taxis are easy to come by and quite cheap.

Not suitable for 5 ppl very noisy

Booked for family of 5. Upon arrival looked like it was prison blocks. Huge queues for check in more staff needed to handle the volumes of customers. Resort would really benefit for a good clean and a lick of paint to freshen it up. Sofa bed was possible to use due to it being like lying of a bed of exposed springs. After raising the issue hotel management did little to address the issue. was told the room was quiet had all the staff cleaners and restaurant staff constantly wheel stuff out outside the room even at 11:30 at night. Bins being emptied waking you up every morning. Really disappointed and would highly recommend to avoid this hotel/apartment

The property was nice and clean. Good size rooms for a family. Breakfast was awesome with lots of options and everything was fresh. Check in and out was quick and kitchen was useful to have. Highly recommended

Ok for a few days

A very nice Appartment in an area close to Estepona centre. Good size room, well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Sofa and bed beds not very comfortable, but overall the room was good. Half board food started well in the restaurant, but mid way through evening meal changed to the buffet room, which was like a large noisy workman cafe. Overall the food was only OK
