A nice stop-off in the city

We only stayed here one night and didn't experience the breakfast on offer but the staff were friendly, the room clean and spacious enough with a balcony, and easily located in New Kingston. As the name suggests, it's convenient if you're arriving to the city on the Knutsford bus too. We had a great view over the pool and surrounding city from our balcony!

The location was good, Family orientated, however the rooms need refreshing, and hot water system needs overhauling, no hot water for showers, light over dresser, broken, and alrhough an attempt was made to repair after 3 night stay it was not fixed. Neither was hot water repair.

The restaurant staff where very accommodating and friendly. However I do feel the hotel needs major renovation in order to meet the standards it’s advertised as. I found the management customer service skills a little negative, as I had an minor issue which was eventually fixed.

Hotel for a short stay only

Booked 21 nights 2 adults, 1 child and a baby in a Junior suite with continental breakfast. Room was very spacious with 2 double beds and a cot (on request). No wardrobe, only a dresser unit and a few hangers in walk-in closet, so all clothes had to remain in suitcases. Room was not prepared properly, shower facilities needed a proper descaling. The hand basin had no stopper and the bath was stained(not clean) so could only be used as a shower, had to buy a basin to wash my 7 month old in! The shower railing was falling off and we had to report our self. The housekeeping staff were friendly and polite but they were not very observant. There were dead mosquito squashed on the walls and the hand basin drain was clogged, and again we had to ask the staff to clean/fix it. The best part of the breakfast was the fruits and pastries. Kitchenette had no kettle, we had to request one, no utensils provided, what's the point of a kitchenette? Had to borrow a few plates from the restaurant. The hotel cater for a lot of functions; weddings, graduations 3-4 each day, they seem to care more about theses events than regular guests. To get local food for b/fast, this had to be paid for separately and is costly like lunch. Local cafes prices are much cheaper and takes even better.

Business like hotel

Second stay at the Knutsford Court. The hotel could do with decoration in places, but is spotlessly clean. Customer service is very good. A quiet place in the hustle and bustle of Kingston even when weddings are held there. Would definitely recommend it and would have no qualms in staying there alone.
