Highly recommended, superb value

Superb hotel in a quiet area of the city but close enough for easy access to the Vatican and city centre. Lovely rooms and excellent, friendly service. Very good value, especially when including a great breakfast. Will definitely stay again.

Nice hotel

The staff when we arrived were very lovely and helpful. We got there fairly late however there was someone waiting at the check-in desk.. he recommended us a place to eat which was just up the road.. all the staff we had contact with were really lovely and really helpful.. The hotel room was very nice and spacious, bathroom was nice and the whole room was very clean. The room got cleaned daily and we were given fresh towels Breakfast was included for us and it was niceeee.. there were a mixture of pastries, bread, jams, Nutella etc along with an array of drinks, tea and coffee.. just be careful if you’re vegetarian because they have the breakfast meats and cheese together.. again the staff were lovely in the restaurant, especially the lady!! In relation to the location of the hotel, it is a decent while away from all the landmarks and the sights. It took approx 45-60 mins walk to the colosseum, St. Peter’s basilica was around a 45 minute walk and the fountains were around a similar distance too.. I can’t comment on the public transport because we walked everywhere We were able to leave our bags at reception when we checked out which was convenient.. I would recommend this hotel based on our experience

Rome in March 2018

We chose this hotel as it seemed central to the attractions we wanted to see - ~Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Colleseum, Vatican City etc. We walked to all of them, the longest time being about 40mins. There was also a Metro line a short walk away. We flew into Rome Ciampino Airport and took the bus (no. 520) to Cinecitta where we got the Metro Line to Lepanto and walked about 10mins to the hotel - a very straightforward journey and very reasonable at 1euro 50 cent. The breakfast at the hotel was lovely, plenty of choice and was served from 7am - 10am - fruit, cereal, cold meats, bread/toast, pastries, juice, tea, coffee. Check out was 12noon which suited us rather than an earlier check out as our flight was late afternoon. Just be aware, this area did not seem to have many, if any, restaurants which served dinner at night, I'm not sure if this was the same in all areas of Rome so on our second day we had dinner in the middle of the day and something light to eat later. The hotel also has wi-fi which was great. Overall we enjoyed our stay

Good location for the tennis

Only about 20 - 25 minutes walk to Foro Italico for the tennis, but about 15 from nearest Metro station. My room was available before the normal check in time, which was great, and was clean. I had booked a single, but got a double, with a big, very comfy, bed. Breakfast was OK, and staff were helpful. Area was quiet.

Great hotel

Loved our stay at this hotel. The staff were great from beginning to end. It is located about a 20 min walk from the city center and a 10 min taxi from the train station but the metro is also close by. The area is quiet so there is no noise at night time outside the window and there are a few nice bars close by.

Quiet residential area but close to metro

Hotel is slightly dated. However rooms were very clean bathroom was spacious beds comfortable and in all the room had all you would need. Just one thing though, it would have been good to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Staff were very friendly and helpful a great asset to the hotel. Breakfast could have had slightly more choice especially for those not coming from the continent as there was too much cakes at breakfast. Traveling with a vegetarian it would have been better to have the cheese and meats served on separate dishes. To be fair the hotel had a suggestion box outside the dinning room to give tips for improvements. The Hotel was in a very quiet residential area. There is a metro two blocks away and it is only one & two stops to all the main attractions in Rome ie Spanish Steps, Vatican etc.

Good small hotel in quiet location

Clean hotel with friendly staff. Reasonable internet speed and spacious rooms. Would defo recommend to people staying in Rome for a short time. Not far from some restaurants and 10mins from Lepanto metro station. Quiet rooms in a quiet area is another plus!

Less than mediocre

After completing the first review on check in the receptionist questioned me and my fiance on why we wrote what we did which made us feel very uncomfortable. The rooms were clean but the bed and pillows were extremely hard and uncomfortable. The hotel bar never had any staff in it so never knew if it was open or not. The hotel didn't provide any other restaurant which you could have meals only breakfast if included, WiFi was extremely slow and after being told €5 would gain us a quicker WiFi and could stream tv or movies we did do this and it was if not worse than the normal WiFi. The TV only had five English channels which were all the news. And I dint go on holiday to listen to the news and how depressive the news is. The hotel is also stated to be in the centre of Rome which it isn't it's a good 1-2 mile walk into the centre never mind getting to the historical attractions.

Nice hotel close to everything we needed.

Good place to stop very clean hotel staff very nice and helpful. Bed was a bit hard but ok. Plenty of places to eat.

Comfortable and friendly hotel central Rome

This hotel is a 20 minute walk from the Vatican , and about a 45 minute walk to Pantheon, Spanish Steps , Trevi fountain , etc . The staff are very friendly and helpful and speak perfect English . It is spotlessly clean , and very quiet . I will definitely return to enjoy this beautiful city again .
