The rooms are a bit worn, the tile floors and glass bedroom walls bounce sound and lighting is harsh- a bit more 3 than 4 star. But the people are nice, the rooftop bar is super popular and the price is about right.

I chose Zen over other options that were closer to the waterfront and wasn't disappointed. The comfort of a couch, washer-dryer, and balcony made for a relaxing stay. Everything is within walking distance and ending the day with a cold beverage on the rooftop is the best way to unwind. Will stay here again.

This was a great place to stay. Friendly and helpful staff this included giving me a lift to the Post Office when it was raining heavily. Good parking we had a 8 metre motorhome and could still park for free. Pool was brilliant. A small gym but never busy. Rooftop bar was great, the free food after 3pm was surprisingly good

The communication by the staff was cold and on the point of rude. The staff did not care about the customer. I cancelled my booking and left before to find another hotel. I do not recommend this hotel if customer service and a warm atmosphere is what you want. Also if you don't run a credit card they demand $500 cash deposit!! ( Especially as a return customer). The hotel I walked into around the corner - central hotel - came up with an option within a minute. ( Intravel a lot for work and leisure and will never stay at the Zen again I have never come across this before
