The room was ok, very basic but it was clean. There was no kettle provided in the room nor any drinks options in any communal areas.... this was unexpected as it didnt state that a kettle wouldn't be available. After landing at the airport late in the evening, we bought some 'instant noodles' knowing restaurants would be close at that time, so it was very frustrating to get to our room and find no amenities or way or making a drinknor food. There was also very limited parking outside. With no reception or front desk, you were left with limited information.

Really seamless stay here at the hotel. There were construction works going on but didn’t disturb us. Check in was a little unclear as supposedly an email was sent with details before. This was not the case but the check in assistant when ringing the bell was very helpful and we had codes and a room within minutes. Our room had a code and there was zero interaction with staff

Nice Small Hotel away from the Main Tourist Areas.

Easy quick check in system, communication was good regarding this but didn’t give any instructions about breakfast by email. Information was available on a sign in the hallway on arrival though. Also didn’t tell us about coffee machine in hallway which my daughter spotted, it was really good and used frequently as no kettle in the room. Breakfast was plenty and a good choice, in a lovely restaurant. Rooms are clean and a good size, with plenty storage. There are renovations going on, we didn’t hear them on the first day as we were out all day, but heard a bit second day as we came and went but didn’t see any workmen. Did not disturb as started after 9am and didn’t go on late so didn’t bother us at all. The area is good for bus transport, and drop off busses can access the road right outside unlike some other hotels. There is a local supermarket, some nice restaurants and it’s away from the busy main shopping street which we liked. I would happily use this hotel again.

O hotel está em reforma, o que por si só não é problema. Porém: - falsamente anunciam estacionamento gratuito, que não existe: as vagas sugeridas (na rua) são pagas ou reservadas para outros prédios, sob risco de guinchamento; - não enviaram o código e número do quarto com 24h de antecedência conforme anunciado (enviaram rapidamente após solicitar, mas eu cheguei no meio do dia, não sei como seria à noite); - no hotel, uma placa anuncia café da manhã grátis para todas as estadias, solicitando uma mensagem no dia anterior; ao enviar a mensagem, dizem que a minha estadia não inclui café (no final, comemos o café sem problemas); - a cortina do quarto estava caindo (no verão, com sol durante a noite inteira); - o quarto e banheiro parecem projetados por alguém que leu sobre acomodações humanas e nunca esteve em uma: sem mesas de cabeceira, banheiro sem box pro chuveiro, pia minúscula etc. O quarto não é pequeno, seria possível ter um quarto e banheiro decentes, mas não. O café-da-manhã foi bem fraco, mas dado que não pagamos nem contávamos com ele, foi uma surpresa bem-vinda.

The property is in Avery good location a short walk from the seafront & Reykjavik center. It was very quiet. The advertised coffee machine in the reception area was out of order and seemed to have been got a while. There was no other facility for a warm drink.

Good value with a warm welcome

About ½ hour walk from the BSÍ bus terminal (we got the bus from the airport) it is fairly well situated for most things, but not in the centre of town. Despite recent construction directly opposite it had a view of the sea and was very quiet at night. Anh was very friendly, welcoming, and knowledgable and helped us with a couple of tour ideas and bookings. The room was basic but clean and the bed was very comfortable. No tea and coffee in the room, but it is available at reception 24 hours a day. Bathroom small but adequate and clean. Continental style breakfast was included and a had a decent variety to choose from. There is also an excellent restaurant in the hotel (but run separately) where we had a fantastic last night meal (with a discount of 10% for those staying in the hotel).

Fab location close to city centre and the often used bus pickup point 12 opposite Storm Hotel. Current building works opposite did not affect our stay. Really good buffet breakfast with excellent local bread, cereals, fruit, skyr, ham, cheese, pate, tomatoes, cucumber, peppers etc. Only a small communal area but there is a free tea/coffee machine available. Our room was a good size for 3, so space was not a problem. Excellent desk staff from 8am to 8pm who could not have been more helpful.

This was a nice, clean, modern hotel hotel with a good breakfast included and very friendly staff. The price was excellent for the quality of the hotel. The only drawback was the distance to the downtown which was a 30 minute walk. That said, I would consider staying here again.
