The owner was very kind and helpful, a beautiful quiet place to relax and get into nature, loved watching the birds and immersing ourselves into how the locals who live in the community love each day! I generally don't give 5 stars to anything. These guys earned it. The room was beautiful, clean, and big enough. The property was wonderfully maintained. Just make sure you're ready for daily summer rains and the possibility of the exit being blocked by a train

The main lake house is a great place to chill before and after any event in the area. Fire pit and outdoor recreation on the little lake make for a great little break. We will be back!

Our stay at The Retreat was amazing! Andrew and we very communicative and attentive. The conditions of the place were great. Super clean, many amenities and the view to the lake and all was beautiful too. First time staying at a tiny house and loved it. Definitely coming back hopefully soon :)
